This is a short guide to a different type of Kayle. In a day and age when so many changes are coming for her (supposedly), here is a build that will insure you deal a ton of damage and will be unexxpected by the enemy team. This build will also work with your righteous fury for those situations when you dont want to be in the middle of the fight with all the aoe damage flying around. Kayle can be played just like a carry and it works very well when your enemy thinks they can rock you and you shield up and destroy them.

I always take attack speed and armor penetration runes for maximum damage, armor pen helps burn down beefy tanky champs as well as reducing those squishies armor to nothing, so basically your attacks are like hitting a naked person. I also take attackspeed because you can deal more damage faster, last hit faster and with your armor pen last hit harder since kayles stating damage is a joke.

I take the atypical 21 offense and 9 utility for more xp gain, mana/health regen and decreased death timer. You can also put 21 into defense if you prefer a tad more health and magic resistance and 9 into offense, its not going to hurt you bad enough and the extra health and defesnes will help a bit. Taking defense masteries wont hurt you bad so it is ok to do.

There is no real set combo for Kayle, she is what she is. Each ability can be used for what and when you need it. I typically like to level up reckoning for that last hit on a minion low on health but close enough to your enemy that they will try to take advantage of you trying to melee last hit for a chance gank on you. Your heals will not be strong so dont rely on them to heal you in a fight or you will be grossly let down, i typically use it to chase an enemy low on health for an extra burst of speed, like a short range ghost. Righteous Fury can also be use to last hit a group of minions or farming a creep wave pushing a tower, it also works with your attack damage and crit rate, it says AP in the tooltip but it really deals attack damage. I realizede this when i went attack damage build and noticed that the tooltip does NOT match the damage i was putting out with it because i was hitting for near 500 damage with every crit with an 85% chance crit, and thats way more damage than the standard 30 or 40 AP ratio the ability gives in the tooltip.

I use flash and ignite, since kayle has no real need to use ghost with her speed boost from heal, flash is a more benefit for times when a fight goes tits up and you need to get out of immediate danger. Teleport is ok for her to use as well, for that chance backdoor, or a teleport to a hidden ward in a bush for a gank (until they remove it, whenever that will be). Kayle is the kind of champ that benefits from alot of summoner spells, the only ones you dont use will be revive and rally, theyre both very useless and your team will think youre trying to troll or feed. Clarity for AD kayle isnt needed, since you may not even be packing the utility talent to make it useful for your team.

Pros: AD kayle is a high damage output build, and can devestate the enemy the same as any ashe build.

Kayle has a great chasing capacity with her speedbost on her heal, and you can dominate almost any champ 1v1 with your shield up providing they dont have a stun waiting for you.

Cons: Kayle is squishy and not a tank, its best to wait for your intiator to start the fight, since your in carry mode the enemy will try to focus you down unless there is another carry. Get used to the enemy always being after you, with ad kayle you will draw fire and you may need to get a defensive item lastly to survive.
