Introduction

Kayle is one of the better champions in the league, she has the right utility but the wrong stat distribution (Message Riot Games about this). Kayle also has one of the most OP ults in da gamez, and when use correctly can provide results. There is a lot of confusion of how Kayle should be played. People list Kayle as an AP support or Hybrid DPS, none of these work. Kayle is meant to be played PURE AD, you will see how and why in this guide.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Very strong damage output
- Lots of utility for slaying
- Ultimate Ult
- Win almost every 1v1 situation
- TRICK! (They will think you're a support, but really you're a carry.)

Cons:

- Slow early game
- Need to have good farm

Spells

Passive: Holy Fervor Pro passive, This stacks with your Black Cleaver in reducing your opponents armor to almost nothing.

Skill Description:(Innate): Kayle's autoattacks against enemy champions reduces their armor and magic resistance by 3% for 5 seconds. This debuff stacks up to 5 times.

Reckoning: Great utility skill, used for getting away and getting in, I max this out instead of divine blessing, because the slow is vital when kids are running away from you after you have proved your dominance.

Skill Description: (Active): Blasts a target, dealing magic damage and slowing its movement speed by 35% for 4 seconds. While the target is slowed, Kayle inflicts more damage to the target. Damage increase applies to summoner spells and items used by Kayle.

Divine Blessing: No need to max this out until you have to, because the healing is **** when your running pure AD, also decent utility skill for the burst speed.

Skill Description: (Active): Blesses a target allied champion, healing them and increasing their movement speed for 2.5 seconds.

Righteous Fury: Best skill EVAR, not only can this be used on turrets whem attacking it ( to not get targeted by turrets for its AOE when enemy is near one ) but It can be used to proc item skills like Youmuu's Ghostblade, which is AMAZING.

Skill Description: (Active): Kayle harnesses her righteous fury to increase her attack range by 400 (to 525) for 10 seconds. These attacks splash, dealing additional magic damage to her target and nearby units take a percent of her attack damage plus magic damage. This splash damage does not affect turrets.

Intervention: Disregard the last sentence, THIS is the best skill EVAR. This skill is great for people with or without balls. If both you and your opponent is at critical HP and you activate this, they will keep on attacking you because they are a dumb and you will be able to finish them off. If you activate this early, It will make kids totally disregard you and focus someone else if there is another person, otherwise they run.

Skill Description: (Active): Kayle bathes a target ally champion (or herself) in holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for a few seconds.

Summoner Spells

Ghost: As if your utilites weren't enough for chasing and running away, this will guarantee you your kill.

Teleport: Mostly for throwing kids off, or when Im solo topping, but I find teleport to be one of the more useful summoner spells.

ALTERNATE SPELLS

Flash: If you want in replace ghost go ahead, just as good.

Ignite: Really good skill, this basically shuts down every threat against Kayle (People that has Life steal)

Laning

Solo Top: I prefer Solo Top because I can get farm without people ripping on me that Kayle is a support and doesn't need farm. The thing about solo topping is GANKS, with Kayle, ganks are not a problem. I like to set reputation in the beginning when I play Kayle, I set the passive/scared farmer. When you hit 6 and get your ult, you run in and 1v1 the guy, and make him rage about how OP your ult is. hen you rape your enemy and prove your dominace, the ganks will be comming. By the time you hit your Black Cleaver you should be able to 1v2, your dps is crazy at this point and Ganks will basically be free kills for you.

Mid Lane: Mid lane usually has many AP ranged champs and can cause problems for you because of the harassment. HOWEVER, mid laners are usually squishy and their lifespan is shorter than your 2 second ULT.

Bottom Lane: I prefer to bottom lane, only if I duo Que. If you don't duo Que, you will get ripped on for taking their farm and be pressured to buy wards. However, you can use your partner as a death fodder because they will be targeting your buddy instead of you, and you can clean up the kill and get fed. Bottom lane has many pros and cons but if you want to truly be OP, take Solo Top.

Alternate Items

Mercury Treads: If you're laning against AP Champs then pick these up instead of Ninja Tabis

Frozen Mallet: This is late game material, this item guarantees that no man will escape you. The Frozen Mallet is also good for bulkiness.

Hexdrinker: Pretty good item especially if you're getting pounded on by AP Champs like Akali.

Warmogs Armor: A tanky item, this improves your 1v1 capabilities, use if you're getting outlasted by life stealing, bulky champs like Sion.

Sunfire Cape: I normally don't get this, but if AD champs are getting to be a problem, then pick these up.

Frozen Heart: Good item for Kayle, it provides everything needed for a 1v1 situation, Mana, Armor, CD, and Reduces the attack speed of champions nearby!

Ionian Boots: If you feel that your E/Righteous Fury needs to be on 24/7 then use these instead of Ninja Tabis or Mercury Treads
