I have found kenen as a great solo top champ

u might find it a bit strange, but after some trys and good tactics
I have won top lane against multiple champions

Positives:

great range

super stuns

big aoe

quick and small

good late game!

I use all 3 trees.
they are connected to my rune page. where i will explain the offense and the defense tree.

Here i explain the utility:

the energy isnt the goal but its very good.

the MS is the goal!

makes Ken slighty faster than most top champs.

Remember that masteries are set accordingly.

my runes are combined with masteries so i get a high magic and armor penetration.

The healt is for pure survivability. (normally he starts with 495 lvl 1)

with runes and masteries i get 598 hp at lvl 1.

since an ignite champ kan to easily kill him early game.

The E at lvl 1 is for being able to get 2 pots ward and boots at lvl 1, and still make it in good time.

The other is pretty obvious, Q isnt that important!

I use flash and exhaust

The flash ofc. for ulti and escapes/kills.

The exhaust is combinet with my Runes and Masteries.

Giving me 15 armor pen. + 10% from masteries + 10 less armor on target with exhaust.

and 9 + 10% magic pen. + 10 lees MR

Further more i find it better than ignite cause of the big possibilty of a bruiser top champ in Solo Que. And exhaust on divers is just the **** with all of Kens stuns.

U might figure that im playing quite defensivly.

Kens Q and unlimited spam for farm is the key.

furthermore is all about getting a mark in on the enemy at every 4-5 basic attack

then u can pretty much stun them before they got to close with Q or E and W

The first 2 levels are very important!

ONLY FARM dont get hit by enemy, pulling minions and staying back

I put a ward in bush at a time depending on enemy jungler.

Thereby ken is pretty much unkillable

atleast if u can handle not getting every minion in early game :)

But the xp is very important and early her*** on meele champs!

I dont wanna write no more and it might seem stupid
not going full dmg AP.

but Ken is so good late game and in TF, much better than most solo top champ

so eventhought u dont outfarm its ok as long as u dont get killed and lose exp,

And he is very nice to gank with if the jungler is good. atleast at lvl 6 with double or triple stun :)
