Introduction
There exists an ancient order originating in the Ionian Isles dedicated to the preservation of balance. Order, chaos, light, darkness -- all things must exist in perfect harmony for such is the way of the universe. This order is known as the Kinkou and it employs a triumvirate of shadow warriors to uphold its causes in the world. Kennen is one of these shadow warriors, entrusted with the sacred duty of Coursing the Sun - tirelessly conveying the justice of the Kinkou.
Kennen was born in Bandle City and it was said that in his first living moments he bolted first from the womb and second from the midwife who delivered him. His parents had thought that he would outgrow his boundless energy, but as he matured his energy found no limits and was matched only by his unnerving speed. Despite his astonishing gifts, he remained unnoticed (or at least uncaught, as he was quite the prankster) until, on a dare, he ran straight up the great outer wall of the Placidium. When word of this feat reached Kinkou ears, Kennen was quickly and quietly brought in for an audience. He found that the role of the Heart of the Tempest suited him, frenetically delivering both the word and the punishments of the Kinkou across the realm. He now works with his fellows Akali and Shen to enforce the balance of Valoran. This hallowed pursuit has unsurprisingly led the triumvirate to the Fields of Justice.
''The Heart of the Tempest beats eternal...and those beaten remember eternally.''

I start of with a dorans to counter squishiness early game and to give me some bonus health regen. Next I get merc treads/sorcerers shoes. I get merc treads more often than sorcerers shoes because merc treads can help me escape with the cc reduction. I use sorcerers shoes when there is not alot of cc on the enemy team. When i come back again, I get a giants belt and than build it into rylais. In early game i tend to go more tanky than ap but in mid game i start getting more ap items. After Rylai's is Zhonya's. I tend to use Zhonya's alot when i pop my ult so the enemy team can't try to kill me while rylais and my passive make's sure the enemy team stays in my ult. after i get my Zhonya's i sell my dorans to get my rabadons. The 2 last items are there so i have more magiv pen.
I play kennen as both mid and solo top. When I play mid, I usually play safe and try to poke the enemy champion with my Q, but most of the time i just try to get my farm until lvl 6. At lvl 6, I try to see any opportunities to try and kill the enemy champion. If they overextend a bit, try and stun him once and than back off. Keep doing this until they get to around 1/2 health. Then you do the same thing except you pop your ult and your ignite so the enemy won't get away. In mid-game, I find some opportunities to gank top or bot and try to help my allies push that lane. When a teamfight occurs, make sure you DON'T initiate. Let your tank do that. Just stay behind you're tank until your tank initiates and than you can go and ult them. My combo is E-W-R-W-Q, making sure my ult can already stun them even though it only hit them once. After it hits 2 more times, I use w again so i can stun the enemy twice. Late game we start grouping up and more teamfights occur but it's pretty similar to mid-game.
