I think i said somewhere in the guide, the whole point is its virtually full damage in the items, so you can still abuse Shaco's early damage. BUT, you get decent tank from the items, however their passives make them OP on Shaco. To put it simply, the lifeline and steraks passive give great shields so you survive almost all burst (since steraks will stop AD or AP and maw will stop magic damage) and this gives you an extra 2-3 seconds in fights which is more then enough to kill a carry or juke your way out.

TL;DR the passives from maw and steraks give you about as much tank as a whole extra item with their passives so you survive way longer, but damage isnt compromised :)

I'm confused. This build is different, but it is still "full damage" besides Steraks. Steraks is a great item, but ONE defensive item with 4 other damage items wouldn't be considered bruiser! But good guide, I didn't know duskblade would proc twice with the clone and that may come in handy. I don't know if this would be "better" than a regular full damage shaco (full damage shaco is better than crit shaco as proven by the damage output and even Shaclone mentions it).

Good job so far! (ps. I'm not a masterful guide creater, just trying to help!)
