UGH MY NUTS SMELL REALLY BAD.

First off, I think the build is phenomenal, AD Kog is very enjoyable. Beginning with life steal is so big, as it allows me to lane for seemingly forever.

The only difference I have is that I am rushing Phantom Dancer after Maldreds. I think going attack speed first helps harass and 2v2/3v3 midgame, and late game I start to build the damage items. The attack speed is especially helpful while chasing. After the Dancer, I go Bloodthirster, ect.

Hi, I played last week free Kogmaw with your build and I liked it alot. Been saving IP to own him but the recent patch states something sounds like a nerf.

Kog'maw

* Fixed a bug where Bio-Arcane Barrage was doing more damage than intended
* Fixed a bug where Bio-Arcane Barrage was dealing physical damage instead of magic damage

I dont mind minor nerf but does it really affect your build? Because if i buy Kogmaw I wanna keep playing this build first.

Overall bad build. You want to build AD and you pick bio arcane at lvl 3???? the harassing power is much higher on bio arcane than on void ooze.

Your item build has zero synergy in it, some crit, some armor pen, some attack speed but not enough attack speed... And lifesteal...

With Kog you should never ever even need lifesteal apart from a vampiric scepter...

Bad mastery choice. GO for Cooldown reduction in utility... the cooldown on bio arcane has been augmented, you NEED to lower it with the masteries, cooldown reduction glyps AND golem buff. you NEED 40 % cooldown reduction. A big *** team fight doest last 3 second, you need to chase to pesky carries.

You are there to kill their carry, but you have to NOT get caught. you NEED phantom dancer AND/OR youmu ghostblade.

To be honest, i may be sound like a jerk right now, but you're build is too similar to half of the build out there on kog, it lacks imagination!

I use Kog'Maw like a dps, Utility Masteries are useless for me >.<! Like clarity.

why do u have armor pen. runes , kog only have magic damage, bloodrazor is alaso magic so magic pen. is much better!! and try flash/clarity next game and utility masteries:P

just about the runes, the dmg from bloodrazor and you W is magic dmg even if you are doing it on normal attacks. so mabye magic pen runes are better than armor pen?

Back when I first started playing Kog'Maw I played with an item setup nearly identical to yours. I would suggest, however, that you trade in the Bloodthirster/Last Whisper combo for Stark's/The Black Cleaver instead. I tend to pair these two sets of items together often because whichever way you go you end up with Attack Speed, Life Steal, Damage and Tank Management. What makes me feel Stark's/The Black Cleaver to be superior on Kog is that The Black Cleaver works in conjunction with Caustic Spittle's active much, much better than Last Whisper does. Additionally, Bloodthirster/Last Whisper are selfish items in comparison to Starks/Black Cleaver in that the cleaver's armor deduction benefits everyone attacking your target and Stark's is an impressive aura item. I use them in my own Kog build I have posted on this site; I find them highly effective.
