Hmmm.... as for gold/10s in good fights 1 item is a good idea coz it will refund, in 3v3 no more, Thornmail or Randuins Omen not both in 3v3 not soooo much dmg with her shield to buy so much def, beside one of randuins items is item to generate gold. Warmongs you buy as soon as possible or just dont coz like you wrote not much time and you wont use it full potencial. I lack here CDR coz in 3v3 there are not so much burst like in 5v5 so you can be able to use stuns more in one fight, that is why I max Q + CDR boots and can use 2 stuns instead 1 and it's Hudge difference. My opinion is that with first wave of destroyed towers tenacity wont allow you to run safely, usualy Akali, Jax, Trynda or so is in enemy team and this 35% of shorten CC wont help anyway so try other boots.
You took dodge runs + dodge masteries get dodge boots nice combination and cheap :P

Yeah, like I said, it's different and it's worked for me so far. My reasoning for no gold/10 item is the games don't usually last long enough. The Thornmail has only gotten that far once, and it was actually earlier, but against a Tryndy. I'm always looking to improve it though.
