Introduction
NOTE: I am not level 30 yet and don't have full access to runes and masteries, so all of this may not be fully tested. But because I do good with what I have, YOU should be good with it as a full.
I don't play with runes because I can't afford more rune pages. Its is amazing though that I can still do good without them. I still recommend you get; Attack Damage Marks, Armour Glyphs, Health Regeneration Seals and Life Steal Quintessences. These , I believe will give you optimal health, armour and durability with the health regeneration and gold income. These are a good set up for someone like Garen who is more towards the flat attack damage. For someone like Tryndamere you will want to substitute your Attack Damage Marks for Critical Strike.

Runes
In Masteries use 21 - 9 - 0. Doing all attack damage, critical strike and armour penetration in offence. Armour, health per level and health regeneration in defence. These masteries are for any champion, thus, champions like Tryndamere need critical strike, so we build his runes with some critical strike.

You don't need a specific skill order. Just level your skills depending on how you are going in the match. For example: with Garen, the first 3 levels I will level accordingly: at level 1 I will do my "E", at level 2 I will choose; must I go my "W" because they poke at you a lot, or, must I go my "Q" so I can play more aggressively. At level 6, like most people, I will get my "R". From there I will decide what to get depending on my team, and who I am against.
