Thanks for your reply. The reason Prefer to go Doran's Ring as opposed to Meki's Pendant is because the mana per 5 seconds difference is 2. It really isn't THAT much of a difference. Where with Doran's ring you also get 100 more HP and you are insanely squishy early and gives you an AP boost.

The reason I believe Sorcerer's Shoes is better than Ionian boots is because to make Ionian boots be a better choice you would pretty much have to be in combat. Zilean should not be in combat because of how squishy he is and his auto attack damage is far to insignifiganct and the cooldown reduction on these boots isn't enough to make a real impact on those situations. With Sorcerer's Shoes you make the most of those double bombs.

a decent build, but personally i prefer startin with mekis pendant since the lack of mana, and the ap fixes itself with arcangel staff :-) and ionian boots is better for an nuking zilean since the bombs is just able to be placed 2 at maximum nuking.
