Introduction
Let me start by staying i've been playing LOL since the start, but this is my first real involvement in the community. I am so excited about the new support champion Lulu, i thought i would tip my toe into the pool of the LOL community, starting here.
Always start with Glitterlance for harass and slow. Wild Growth -> Help, Pix! -> Whimsy
Glitter Lance
Whimsy
Help Pix
Wild Growth
Glitter Lance
-
Cast on mouse location: Deals Damage and Slows enemy champions
One bolt fired from Pix, one bolt fired from Lulu.
Has synergy with Help Pix
Champions can only take damage from one glitter lance, unless second bolt is synergised with Help Pix due to range differences
Whimsy
-
Cast on Ally: Bonus Movement speed and ability power
Cast on Enemy: Slows, and Polymorphs them for a short time - can move but not use any abilities
Help Pix
-
Cast on Ally or Enemy: Sends Pix to target (remembering glitter lance synergy)
Cast on Ally: Grants target a damage absorbing shield
Cast on Ally: Uses targets basic attacks to trigger Pix's attacks
Cast on Enemy: Reveals target
Cast on Enemy: Damages on landing, and then as normal there after
Wild Growth
-
Cast on Ally: Knocks back all close enemy's
Cast on Ally: Grants target bonus health
Cast on Ally: Grants target an aura that slows movement speed of effected enemies
The utility points are quite obvious, and standard for most used to support. Allows lulu to sustain in the lane longer due to mana, and speed boosts for survivability.
While Lulu is a support, and survivability is necessary, i believe all supports cant just focus on the role alone to be effective. Harass and sustain is also required, this is why a focus has been made (not at a huge expense) to allow some potential for harass and dmg output.

As a support champion, it usually falls to you or the jungler to assist your team in the purchase of wards - wards are game changing. They allow you to see an incoming attack, or a vulnerable target.
Wards can mean the difference between a kill and death - a win or a loss. Learning how to effectively use wards is a staple of a successful team.
Wards
How effective a ward is depends entirely where it is place, no ward is wasted - but placing a ward in the most effective way can change the tide of the match.
There are two types of conventional wards (excluding champion abilities) those are:
Sight Ward
Vision Ward
Using the right ward for the situation is important, as a Vision Wards can shut down cloaked assassins before they ever begin.
Ward Locations
In the image below, here are the most typical locations wards are place - that does not mean wards cannot be placed in other areas such as high traffic bushes and ect. but you can use this as a reference:

Lulu, the Fae Sorceress
Pix, Faerie Companion (Passive) - Pix fires magical bolts of energy whenever his owner attacks another enemy unit. These bolts are homing, but can be intercepted by other units.
Glitterlance - Pix and Lulu each fire a bolt of magical energy that heavily slows all enemies it hits. An enemy can only be damaged by one bolt.
Whimsy - If cast on an ally, grants them movement speed and ability power for a short time. If cast on an enemy, turns them into an adorable critter that can't attack or cast spells.
Help, Pix! - If cast on an ally, commands Pix to jump to an ally and shield them. He then follows them and aids their attacks. If cast on an enemy, commands Pix to jump to an enemy and damage them. He then follows them and grants you vision of that enemy.
Wild Growth (Ultimate) - Lulu enlarges an ally, knocking enemies away from them and granting them a large amount of bonus health. For the next few seconds, that ally gains an aura that slows nearby enemies.
