O yeah the title says it all, most of the time people will cry and rage and say AP tf sucks at champion selection... but they will praise you for teleporting and soloing the enemy base FTW, and taking out the squishies before they can even move or react.
on top of that i dont know all the special codes to make an awesome guide with a **** load of pictures... so it wont get any better than reading so why dont you use what u they taught u in 4th grade and get rid of those ******ed picture books and read a chapter book if you cannot stand my typing.
This guide is meant to show how a real AP tf is played, not only does it get you to about 700 AP (i forgot the math guinsoos) it extremely abuses his E skill (1.9 attack speed 8 stacks on guinsoos)
ALWAYS GO MID AS TF, NEWHERE ELSE AP TF FAILS HE IS EXTREME ITEM DEPENDANT, unless u can land a lot of kills u wont need the EXP and Farm, tf's wild cards are garbage until around level 5
unless of course the enemy team is ******ed and have 2 at top, then go solo.
THEY WILL CRY.
Why? AP is the ultimate lane pusher.
or u can just 1v1 top, because usually the ******ed tanks go solo top, u get to free farm and have no worries about getting hurt.
PAC = W skill PICK A CARD PAC
u may find the last chapter most useful
but u guys may want to try to get this done build in a custom game against bots so u can see the potential in the dmg against squishies and towers before u say that this build has **** damage. may not look like it but i promise u will burst at least 2500 on squishies. depending on runes and **** like that
AND NO I DID NOT LEARN THESE TRICKS FROM OTHER PLAYERS NOR DID I TRY TO COPY THEM THIS IS MY OWN PLAY STYLE AND ANY OF THAT ****PY PLAGIARISM WAS COMPLETELY UNINTENDED.

great for farming lanes and pushing lanes and backdooring unchecked towers.
btw dont mind the ******ed people who blame u for back dooring they should know by now if its a 4v5 fight under the tower... this build takes down full hp towers in about 4-5 seconds trust me u just have to learn how to trigger lichbane with his 2 skills correctly.
WHY points in Mana? well 2 goes into mana because duhh it gets u to the next tier, or u can put it into good hands doesnt matter. mana would be better since it teaches ure lesson not to get killed again IMO
REGEN ????? WHY???? U HAVE BLUE CARD??
Well lets see ******ed in team fights its better for u to be throwing gold cards. Thats why!
TF runs out of mana FAST considering his combo costs 200 mana total and its on a 3.6 second cooldown if u have teh full build
BECAUSE U FOOL GAMES LAST LONGER THAN level 11. which is where flat runes begin to fall.
why mana regen seals? well it kind of depends if u want more staying power, or if u want more power all in ure decision. thats why i added bot ap and regen per lvl seals.
all other runes are pretty self explanatory.
if u have a void staff u will basically be doing true damage if they have around 100 MR or less.
i had great times with this, scored 5 kills with my friend, dont try this in normal blind pick, people are ******ed.
if u feel like u cant trust ure team to score a few free kills from this then skip it and go for a dorans ring and go mid
as for the item sequence build it how it exactly is sell doran's ring when space is needed, then save kage's pick for the last item you get.
your core items are Hat, Lichbane, sorc boots, nashor's tooth, and guinsoos.
the rest are situational items.
EX. deathfire for the extra burst on high HP champions
void staff for high magic resist
Rylai for the extra hp and SLOW debuff (works wonders for people who have tenacity u can still gold card and Q then repeat and still get away)
gunblade for the vamp/life steal not to mention a damaging slow.
hourglass to get rid of those pesky AD, prevents them from lifestealing you when u use its active skill, it will also pretty much refresh ure cooldowns because in this case ure cd is 3.6 so... a 2 second stun and hour glass = 4 seconds u basically get 4 free spells, if they decide to stick around.
all other items i think are self explanatory bye now, AA is just for more AP i guess and mana regen since u will be spamming out skills like crazy it shouldnt be hard to hit the 1000 cap.
put a skill into your ultimate whenever you can, some people say skip it, i say dont u never know when u need those precious seconds to reveal the annoying escaping shaco/twitch/morg/brush encouters
then focus on ure W for obvious reasons. more mana longer stun stun and more aoe dmg.
then E last for obvious reasons as well
(if u gank enemy jungler at lvl 1)
this is explained in the items chapter.
be sure to lock them gold cards and let ure team know u are ganking.
thats pretty much it.
now Lane mode
start off by last hitting with blue card, stay behind mage minions, make sure to not extend, tf has a pretty low escape chance because he only has a stun and he runs REALLLY SLOW 305 speed.
gradually keep ure minions near ure towers. control minion waves with ure AOE RED CARD.
as soon as u hit lvl 4 start spamming the enemy with wild cards. make sure u learn to aim
a tip when u see a minion with low HP of course hes gonna hit it with basic attack, throw ure cards where he is going to stand so he can hit it =)
melee champs will be like dam, and kassidan will be like uhhh i thoguht i was teh anti caster.
if u get him to around 200 hp he will think he is safe... however he is not. because u lock in a gold card and he sees the big fcking card on your head and you try to chase him with ure 305 speed and he flashes away and tower aggros u and u die...
LUCKILY YOU HAVE FLASH
how to do this the right way......... get ure stacked deck to 3 blue card a minion.
WHY? because it gets it to 4 which is the bonus dmg on next basic attack.
WHY BLUE CARD? because the next time u press it it will start where it left off.
and guess what the cycle goes blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red blue gold red
get the idea?
so next what u do is get near instant lock a gold flash in stun throw ure wild cards and basic attack a few times, then hes dead...
unless he has sort of built in flash then flashes then uses summoner heal. then in that case i guess.
but im sure u get the idea.
i forgot to tell you how to make sure u lock a card. by the time u notice the card change u want to lock the card that appears on tf's head and occurs before the card that you want.
example if u want red u lock in at blue, if u want gold u lock in at red, if u want blue u lock in at gold.
How to play 1v1 Against AD Carry
FIRST OF ALL NEVER 1v1 UNLESS U HAVE A FULLLLLLLL BUILD, first of all TF is all about patience. wait for the enemy to waste a skill on minion wave, make sure stacked deck is triggered lock in gold card.
NOW DESTINY AND GATE IN!!! (or spam wild cards in jungle first so u can get 8 stacks on guinsoos)
O **** 1000 DMG BURST ! its about 1000 dmg
BUT WAIT JUST AUTO ATTACK UNTIL STUN HAS STOPPED ! thats about 400 dmg in auto attacks
Because Lich Bane IS ON A 2 SECOND CD
NOW WILD CARDS FOR 700 DMG
NOW BASIC ATTACK FOR LICH BANE! O **** 750 DMG
AD CARRY = DEAD
AD carry saying O **** AP TF OP NERF.
about 2850 in dmg burst o i forgot your E will be triggered again O **** 3000 burst?
by that time u can lock a gold card again. and kill the next carry that tries to gank u.
HOW TO KITE !!!!!
Same as 1v1 a squishy, u basically lock red card run and wild card.
should be really easy to aim since champs run in a straight line when they chase some 1.
careful with people that have skills that close in gaps, in that case use Gold cards.
if 2 chase u, u will have to gold card the ones who have skills like akali or shaco deceive, then red card the other champ
WHY? because when u gold card the shaco/akali they will most likely end up behind their ally leaving u enough time to lock a red card and hit the ally. Since it is an AOE it will slow both of them.
HOW TO BACKDOOR
Commuication is KEY and timing IS THE BREAD AND BUTTER.
First YOU MUST HAVE A PUSHED LANE,
BUT BEFORE U PUSH A LANE MAKE SURE ALL ENEMIES ARE PRESENTLY Grouped.
u dont want some 1 to farm ure ****ing lane u have pushed.
STEP 1, DO NOT GATE OR TELEPORT TO LANE WALK URE *** THERE and kill a few minions (make sure to only BD when tank minions spawn)
STEP 2, Tell ure team u are back dooring
STEP 3, MAKE URE TEAM DISTRACT THE ENEMY TEAM,
Examples include all faking to get dragon or or baron then pulling off to the nearest tower.
choosing dragon or baron is essential u dont want them to go to dragon if u are pushing bot.
Step 4, O HEY THEY JUST GOT BARON NOW THEY WANT TO PUSH... well tell ure team to defend under a turret and join the fight for a bit and stall until ure minion wave have pushed near a TOWER
(for this scenario lets just pretend the minions have reached the enemy tower inhibitor)
O **** THIS IS GREAT NEWS
Now just press the teleport button. lock in BLUE hit tower. o **** full build just did 900 dmg to a tower?????
wait 2 seconds for lich bane then wildcard to trigger lich bane again...
O **** tower PAST HAlf wAY a few more auto attacks and its gone, o **** i do 300 to towers with just auto attacks.... Yep because 40% of ap is converted to tower DMG on top of that you have a 1.9 attack speed...
now since ure PAC does not damage inhibs u will just have to hope there are enemy minions around to throw ure card at them, so u can trigger PAC again. use wild cards to trigger lich bane also. REMEMBER LICHBANE IS ON A 2 SECOND COOL DOWN TIME IT RIGHT OR WAIT 3.6 SECONDS
TIPS ON PUSHING / FARMING A LANE
TIP NUMERO UNO
by the time u have a few items depending on how good u are doing with gold and time in game ( the longer the game the more hp minions have) u will be able to Q the back minions to 0 hp and Q the melee minions to 1% life.
the most efficient way to farm a minions wave (excludes ones with siege minion) is to run ahead of your minions so that they dont clutter up and stay in a straight line. Then lock a red card and hit the second melee minion and send wild cards straight through the lane.
instant profit. =) aLLLLL DEAD
Tip numero 2
O **** IM PUSHING A LANE AND I ONLY HAVE LIKE 4 MINIONS AND THEY WILL SOON TURN AGGRO TO THE APPROACHING ENEMY MINION WAVE!!
HOW CAN I KILL THIS TOWER WHILE STILL BEING LOCKED ONTO THIS TURRET AND BEFORE MY MINIoNS AGGRO THE enemy MINIONS AND DIE FASTER?
Simple, same concept as tip numer UNO.... wait till the second melee minion approaches the tower RED CARD TOWER THEN SEND WILD CARDS DOWN THE LANE.... O **** INSTANT 120 GOLD PLUS 150 FROM TOWER>>>>>>

this tip requires a few games played by TF to understand why i included this
HEEEEELP i AM pushing a lane and i have all these ally minions following behind me... i have no idea when and where the next minion wave will approach so i can lock a red card before the enemy minions clutter up and i wont get to efficiently farm or push a lane in an instant.
Simple watch when ure minions spawn, the enemy minions will be in the same area ure ally minions are at on their side of the map. now u know when to lock the red card so u can avoid the cluttering
Ultimate GAnk TIP
cant get to a lane fast enough? out of RanGE? well use ure summoners spell TELEPORT THEN USE ULTI and gate in to kill.
TELEPORT BD TIP
Notice a minion wave attacking a turret but ure too far away and its an easy turret pickoff? want to get more free hits on a turret? well allow the turret to attack an ally minion teleport to that same minion while the aggro is on it.
WHY????? because it is invulnerable... think about it. 15 minions attacking a turret for free for 3.5-5 seconds (assuming that the turret attacked the minion once and/or if u took a point into summoner's insight) dont to forget lock a blue card first.
HOW TO LOOK LIKE A PRO TIP
in this scenario what u want to do is have perfect timing.
ure at mid ure lvl 6, well u both fight both at low hp, enemy decides to port? O **** throw a blue card at a minion (if u dont have enough mana) lock gold PRESS R teleport next to him stun WILD CARD and flash out of turret range. just remember that u have about 11 seconds to do this... 3 for the enemy to walk back to his turret, and 8 seconds for recall.

LONG RANGe TF HAS A 1.6 second WINDOW WHERE HE IS DEAD if you do not time your wild cards with your Gold cards

takes down towers FASTER. and triggers ure e faster that way u can basically have 3 spells over 2
