Most of the time when I use this build I out farm my middle lane and start the snowball effect mid game, almost every time.

Unless the jungler happens to be shaco or lee sin who makes me play a little bit more passive at times.

I've tried this build before and it works pretty well. With your masteries and runes is it really not necessary to take Morello's?

It scares me to start with Doran's Ring nowadays, I really prefer boots 3 hp. I see you say you can take either, but I just rarely start with doran's. Otherwise build looks good.

For masteries I think that the mana regen ones aren't very worthwhile. I usually get time dead / swiftness, then buff duration. I definitely think a point in buff duration is necessary. Since Malz gets mana back from creeps killed with Malefic Visions I feel like the mana masteries aren't very necessary, especially when you get catalyst.

I agree with skrallz I barely spent any time on my renekton or kog maw guide both in one day and there still more detailed than this more detail more work on aesthetics then you get +1
