Late game is when the Null zone is your best friend when you have the AP and hopefully AP Pen. to make it chew thru enemy champions. Most people at this point realize the danger and will try to move off of it, even in a chaotic team fight. If you can nail them down to it with your ult though, it can be murderous to even MR stacking tanks.

Jack, I disagree with you here. Null Zone is where Malzahar's damage comes from in his burst combo. They cannot move out of Null Zone when you ulti them and I feel it is better to level this to take down their carries. CotV may be better in some instances, however in team fights no one really notices the patch on the ground and I find it more effective to lock down their carry and kill them in one combo. Just my thoughts.

I really don't understand null over CotV they literally have to stand STILL in the null zone area to deal damage, practice with his SS makes cotv much easier. Use movement prediction. The damage ends up being a lot higher than null zones 95% of the time and the cooldown is lower. The silence is crucial in teamfights and 1v1s, I would rethink the skilling order.

Looks good, but malefic does too little damage at level 1 in my opinion, just from experience. I'll give it a try as soon as I get a chance under all this school work >_>
Try CoTV for level one and then get malefic, just better for early harass and it lets you charge at the start.
I"d make it comment required ASAP as well.
