I'm not sure about higher level, but I have recently started playing LoL and wanted to play chars that weren't easy/recommended, and I enjoy the tanking idea. At first I wasn't sure about Maokai, but I looked for a build and found yours (The first build). Instead of going for magic res runes I went for armor, and used Tier 1 instead. I'm only level 13 so far. I tried it out and it got to the point where I had around 3.7k health and 71% damage reduction plus 50% Magic reduction. It got to the point where people were hitting me when we were all max level and I was gaining health, as opposed to losing any. In saying that, someone had Stark's Fervor next to me, but still, four of them couldn't kill me, and one was playing Yi... it was excellent. So thank you... Your build has made me love playing Maokai.
