I play Yi alot...and have tried all the high rated build here...many times. This build's rating should be waaay higher. It's simple, suuuper fun and if my team is half way decent its a win or a give by other team. Have not made it to 2nd pair of Bloodthirsters yet. To be honest, when I first saw it, I was like WTF but I am way sold. Created an account just so I could give a bump! :P

This is yi. Yi is dps. Yi is not run in meditate then smack for 150 damage because his wuju is level one. You claim it's dps but you level meditate and alpha. I'm confused. His weakness is CC so the late banshee is a little weird considering you rush catalyst. Get DPS before you beef up, or Yi never gets going.

You shouldn't be worried about CC if you know how to play. This build is built around speed, attack speed, and DPS. You shouldn't be initiating, so you will rarely be CC'd.

Tell me what's wrong with two Phantom Dancers.

I used a build just like this for two games.

I got 57 takedowns in the first game and 42 in the second. It's unstoppable.

As for being dominant only in long games, that's not true. Once you get two Phantom Dancers, you can pretty much carry, and that's usually early in the game.

When bloodthirsters are stacked so that you have 500 attack, you have 90% crits, and your wuju is turned on.

Wuju Style only gives you five extra attack per level. It's not as effective to upgrade that. You're better off healing more so that you don't die. If you build correctly, you're only upgrading your attack by less than 5%.

I greatly disagree with you, but I have to say that you have interesting idea. Though you didn't use it at all. Going caster on start and taking a lots of Bloodthirsters makes you win the end game. (if game is over 50 min). Too bad that it won't work in short games. I have recognized that having many lvl's on alpha strike on early levels makes you a bit better than wuju-styler. Mid- and end-game is of course a lot worse. I'd say that taking 3-4 lvls on alpha and then maxing wuju is nice. Somehow I don't still see any prospects on maxing medidate fast. Somehow its like you would surrender before fight has begun. I know that both aggressive and defensive ways work, but in my opinion you would need Chalice of Harmony to keep your mana-pool working on that.

I do not like your skill progression you wait till 14 to continue your Wuju Style, if you want more dps you should always go with Wuju Style before meditate. It only makes sense, if you go with meditate like level 3 just to have a quick heal. Other than that I guess it's a sound build, don't know if I would play it that way seeing as my set up works wonders for me lol.
