SOTD = Useless on crit Yi.
CrD damage runes = Useless on Crit Yi.
B. Greaves = Useless. Cheap, but much better item would be Merc Treads or Boots of Swiftness. Starting off with a Vamp Specter = Useless. You'll heal for around 7 hp per hit. Minions will outdamage your lifesteal.
Bloodthirster = Almost useless on Crit Yi. Only use it for Lifesteal, and getting Executioners Calling shall solve all problems.
Reccomend getting Ghostblade + Merc Treads + Executioners instead of Bloodthirster and SOTD.
Also an almost carbon copy of Dewo's skill explanation, make up your own if you want upvotes. I will DV because of that reason and lack of good items/runes.
