Miss Fortune Build

The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
What you need to know about Miss Fortune is that she takes some getting used to after all the nerfs she has been through, so don't get mad if you are doing bad. Just keep playing her and your get the hang of all the perks of her beastness.
Pros / Cons
Great damage output during all parts of game
Can gank easy
Can escape easy
Can ruin heals
Can be screwed easy if hit and slowed
Horrible mana regen
Intro: Runes for Miss Fortune were hard to choose, but theis a great one stacked with. But the Yellow and Blue runes are up to you, but I would go for either mana, mana regen, or attack speed. Armor pene for Miss is excellent, because you will blow through even some of the most armor stacked tanks out there.
I personally like to use the provided Masteries build, but Sunder and the Magic pene masteries are good too. I focused my masteries mostly on Dmg and attack speed for Miss, but like i said you can go into more of the magic and armor pene to stack with your runes. I also put a mastery to decrease my heal summoner spell but that is not necessary if you chose a spell other then heal, which I bet a lot of people will do. The exp gain and the mana gain one in the utility tree I put just to have a slight advantage over the enemy champions.
I like to start off with afor the health bonus which is really good if you go mid, for the dmg just to kick some *** a little easier, and the life steal so i can stay in the lane a little bit longer.
Try to stay in the mid lane as long as you can until you can either get aor get your. The build I provided is how most of my games seem to go, but if you have enough for the B.F. Sword then go for it.
After you get your boots and a B.F. sword work onuntil you get it. This Weapon is pretty much necessary for you to play Miss to her full extent. After you get the Infinity's Edge, get your. This item will make you a little less squishy and will give you more damage to work with.
When you get your Phage done work on either getting another B.F. Sword (if you almost enough gold) or getting yourif you don't have enough gold. Either way work get both then get your.
Now you will have major damage output while having an excellent health input. Now you should work on gettingfor the attack speed, crit, and the movement speed. After you get it save enough money to get your.
Now you are reaching the end of your item's build, I rarely make it this far because either I win too fast or my team is doing very badly. Anyways work on getting your.
DO NOT SELL YOUR DORAN'S BLADE UNTIL YOU HAVE YOUR PHANTOM DANCER'S. It still gives you minor buffs and you probably won't be able to get your final item for a while anyways.
The final item is totally up to you. I personally go forfor the damage and the armor pene, but another option is to go with afor the damage, ability power, and the killer attack speed. It's totally up to you, just decide what you want to most and build into that.
I personally like to go withand. Yes you will be a heal noob, but you will be a smart heal noob. Heal is now very useful in the new patch since they increased the price on Doran's items so you can't get a pot with them. I used the heal to stay in my lane longer to farm more gold and not get easily ganked during any part of the game. I also like the Teleport, because when you recall you can teleport right back in and start killing again. Maximum gold input that way.
Other Spells I Recommend:: This one is optional, but if you feel like not running out of mana.
: This one is iffy, but if you are about to be ganked a cleanse will come in handy.
: Excellent spell and i would probably use this one with flash if I got tired of heal and port. Blinds, slows, and is pure beast for ganking.
: Another excellent spell. I use this for running away and running at the enemy to get a kill if I know I can get it. ----TIP---- If you didn't know you can flash over most walls. Good way to do a surprise gank, or an easy get away.
: If I get tired of flash I normally use this to run away, or with my mighty Strut to catch up for a kill.
: I also like to use this one in some circumstances. It does damage over time for a short time to get rid that last sliver of health if they manage to get away before you can kill them, and if they are a heal character pop ignite on them and their heals are greatly diminished, even better if you have your W ability stacked on them.
Spells I Don't Recommend:
Everything else. Clairvoyance: OOOO I SEE THEM!!! Fortify: OOO THEY ARE ATTACKING MY TURRENT THEY CANT ATTACK IT FOR 5 SECONDS YEA!!! Rally: OOO I DO MORE DAMAGE, damn they got my flag... damn I'm dead. Revive: OOO I DIED I'M BACK AND I MOVE SLIGHTLY FASTER FOR A SHORT TIME! Damn im dead again and my revive has 8 more minutes on cooldown. Smite: .... I'm not going into this one...
Miss Fortune gains an additional 25 movement speed after 7 seconds of not being attacked, increasing each second up to 80 maximum bonus speed.
*One of the best passives in the game. Try to stay away from enemy minions so they don't attack you. I try to constantly move when it's on until I can do some serious damage on someone. Use it to get away and to catch up*
: Double Up
Miss Fortune fires a shot at an enemy target, dealing 35 / 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 (+1 per attack damage) physical damage and 120% of that damage to another enemy target behind the first. Applies on-hit effects.
*This is one of the best abilities in the game. What it does is hit your target then hit the farthest target (that's in range) for %120 of that damage. So if an enemy champion is hiding behind some minions pop it on the minion farthest (BUT in range) and hit em :). Very nice ability*
If your team just kicked ***, but two champs got away, but are sort of close to each other, pop your Double Up on the nearest one and it will hit the farthest one with more damage. I have gotten many Double Up Double Kills.
: Impure Shots:
Passive: Miss Fortune deals 6 / 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 (+5% of ability power) magic damage to her target with each attack, cumulatively stacking up to 4 times on the same target.
Active: Miss Fortune's attack speed is increased by 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50% for 6 seconds and causes her attacks to lower healing received and health regeneration by the target by 50%.
*Not a very great ability, but it does some nice damage when you have it stacked. Pop this ability when you are in a team fight, gank, or a 1v1 for some more attack speed, and some health regen diminishment*
: Make It Rain:
Miss Fortune fires hundreds of bullets into the air which rain down at a location after 0.5 seconds, dealing 95 / 155 / 210 / 275 / 335 (+80% of ability power) magic damage over 2 seconds and slowing enemies hit by 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40% for 1.5 seconds.
*I LOVE this ability. Great for harassing, slowing escaping enemies, and slowing incoming enemies. Oh and great for farming.*
: BULLET TIME!:
Miss Fortune channels a barrage of bullets into a cone in front of her for 2 seconds, dealing 60 / 85 / 110 plus the higher value between (+20% of ability power) or (50% of weapon damage) magic damage per bullet.
*This ulti is AMAZING! But also very hard to time right and aim right if you are under pressure. It took me a while to realize the best time to use it. When you get it right you will be able to get a Double, Triple, Quadra, or a Penta (only got that once with this ulti)*
Watch for a summary.
Early Game: Grab your Doran's Blade and Health Pot and head mid if you are the best midder for your team. Stay by your turret until your minions come then head out with them. Don't try anything fancy, you can't do much damage with your amount of mana for a while. Just harass the enemy champion until he is low and take him out if you can, but don't get greedy. Stay in your lane has long as you can until you either have to recall because of health, or because you have enough gold to get a B.F. Sword. Most of the time it is the first, so don't get discouraged, I rarely get enough for a B.F. unless the enemy champ is a farmer. Once you recall get your boots/B.F and head back to mid with a tele. Stay in your lane again for the same reasons, above until you have enough for a B.F. Sword/Boots. Then start working on your Inifities Edge and your Phage.
Mid Game: Now you will start to gank and push tower's with your team a lot so stick with them and get a last hits on creeps for gold. When you get enough get your BloodThirster.
Late: TEAM BATTLES!!! You are one of the best Team killers, because of all your abilities do AoE damage. Try to get your team to stun or slow some of them and then you pop you ult on them.
Abilities sequence: Harass with your Q and E mostly, but also save your mana for a fight. When the fight comes; E on the thick of them then immediately do R on them to do a lot of damage. Use Q for some last hit K.O.'s!
---Note--- YOU ARE SQUISHY AND A RANGE CHARACTER. Stay out of the thick of the fight and do some ranged justice on your enemies.
