Story

Story

For those who brave the harsh seas of Runeterra, attaining one's own ship and crew is the pinnacle of success. Sarah Fortune, a well-respected (some would say legendary) bounty hunter from Bilgewater, was able to achieve this feat just after her sixteenth birthday, etching out her name as the go-to gal for resolving special troubles. No bounty was too difficult or too dangerous for her feminine charm and her renowned use of her twin pistols, ''Shock and Awe''. Her success gave her the means to legitimately purchase her own ship... with a little flirtatious haggling, of course. Things weren't always so fortunate for Miss Fortune, though. When she was young, trade ships began to dot the horizon of her quiet home in the northern shores of Blue Flame Island's largest chunk. Trade routes brought piracy, and the inhabitants soon found themselves caught in a frenzy of pillage.

One day, young Sarah returned home to hear gunshots and screaming. Her front door was smashed open; inside, she saw her mother lying in a pool of blood. A sudden blow to her head made her collapse next to her slain mother. The last thing she could remember were her attacker's red eyes, as his face was blocked by a rogue's bandana. Miss Fortune has a strong distrust for pirates and she finds herself constantly bickering with the infamous Gangplank (the only captain to resist her charms) over the direction of Bilgewater politics. Her two goals: to unite the people of Bilgewater, making them into a strong and independent society, and to find the pirate who killed her mother. To that end, she has entered the League of Legends as a champion, trading her skills for the wealth and influence that will help her accomplish both.

Introduction

Hi My name is IlySulli. What does that even mean? Who is Sulli? Well this gif will answer all your questions ^__^

Runes

Marks and Quintessences: I recommend you to use Armor penetration as Marks and Quintessences. With a full set you'll have +29 armor pen. That is pretty much a 22% increase in damage at level one. Basically compared someone without these runes you only have to attack them 4 times opposed to them having to attack you 5 times for the same amount of damage.

Seals and Glyphs: I recommend you to using dodge seals, because as a range AD carry you will have no life and dodge can save your life if you're lucky. I use CDR glyphs to be able to spam double up more. It does a ridiculous amount of damage once you get your first BF sword

With these runes, you will be able to dominate your lane and snowball into a monster carry.

Masteries

I used the standard 21/0/9 masteries with improved crit damage and 1 point in increased duration of neutral buffs. As MF you should try to get the lizard buff as often as possible. Increased damage, plus the slow is ridiculous for a kiter.

Items

There is not any set cookie cutter build for any champion in LoL. You should always buy according to how the game is going. After the Doran's item increased price getting a doran's blade first item is horrible. In higher elo's they will take advantage of that harassed and forced to go back to base. I usually start with boots first and 3 health pots. With movement speed advantage for Miss Fortune's passive and boots you will be able to last hit more easily and also harass your opponent with auto attacks and your double up. If I dominated my lane, boots and 3 health pots can usually last me till i farm my bf sword. This is now probably easier due to the price decrease. From then on i build my blood thirster. This item gives you sustainability from the life steal and ridiculous damage if you can build your charges up. From then on I usually get a stack AD by getting last whisperer. This item increases the damage from your ULT and turns tanks on the other team into squishies. From then on you can go more damage in the form of another BF sword item like Infinity Edge or more attack speed and movement speed from a Phantom Dancer or if the other team has a lot of CC you can get a Banshee's Veil.

For those trolls thare like LOLOL BERSERKER GREAVES. There is no "general consensus" that greaves are bad. This is a weird myth that keeps getting perpetuated.
On champions that aren't getting stunned regularly, the AS boost is awesome. MF, for example, doesn't need Merc Treads as she shouldn't be in the front of the battle anyway. The AS boost helps her early-mid game DPS so much. If the other team cc's you as a carry, you will die with or without mercs. That is why good players buy zerkers to maximize the damage output.

Skill Sequence

As you can tell from my skill build, I don't get Ulti until level 10. Why is that? Your ult is an AOE skill and if you are not participating in any team fights yet there's no reason for it. I would rather max out my double up and impure shots since these skills are single target based and more effective in lane. HOWEVER, if you see the enemy grouping up and 3-4 man pushes are already happening, you should skill your ult at level 8 or 9. Rarely do i ever get my ult at 6. Make it Rain is not a very good skill. The damage is trivial and it's only purpose is its slow, but that only lasts 1 second. I know some people that max Make it Rain first because they dont' know how to last hit. If you can't last hit you shouldn't be playing a carry to begin with and using Make it Rain to get creep kills is ******ed because it pushes the lane you won't even get the creep kill with its ****py damage.

Summoner Spells

I pick up Flash and Ignite. Flash is a must on any squishy hero. It's basically a get out of jail free card. Also a great offensive tool to finish off low enemy champions.

You can easily pop both summoners to get first blood. Once you get them to 40% life from autoattacks or double up spam a flash double up ignite and an auto attack with your impure shots active to cause the minus regen will most likely result in a kill.
