Hi, my summoner name is Ðavidk and I am an avid LoL player. I am venturing into PvP again with my Mordekaiser and finding that he has changed significantly over the past couple months. With his shield being changed along with some of his numbers, he is being pigeon-holed into a tanky slow based mage who scales into end game tankyness. This is my first guide on Moba so please be gentle. This guide is more so to help explain a change I am activly trying to get made for Morde to currect his early game weakness and scale him better into late game. Do please be warned, this is not a "how to play" Morde guide. This is simply for informational purposes to understand his scaling into late game.

The reason I have chosen the Seal of Vigor is because morde does need a little bit of early game game health regen.

The spell vamp quints scale off his base abilities and any other magic damage he may deal to help normalize his health.

I have chosen what I see as Basic health/durability Morde masteries. A little bit of spell pen to help with regen and the offset of health costs, as well as flat damage-taken reductions that complement the health in the Defense tree. I feel that the early game armor from Hardiness as well as the 2 damage reduction from Indomitable really help to normalize his health/shield and are a must for pre-6 Morde.

Definately start boots/pots and rush an early game hextec revolver. By the time you get that finished your health bar and shield be hitting more consistent amounts and you should feel a little bit tankier. Once you get the health and ability power from Rylies scepter your health bar should be relatively normalized and you should no longer really be noticing that your slowly eating yourself. After that you just want to finish your hextech into the gunblade, which i would suggest over WoTa in 3v3 since it gives you allot of true jungling capability along with a nice ranged slow and your only missing 10 ap. After you have your true core and boots finished then you just want to get ap tanky. The Sunfire complements Morde's "W" perfectly as well as makes you even more durable. After that get the Abyssal Scepter or perhapse even FoN depending on how you want to build. At this your point your already a slow tank and just want to keep it up while steadily getting one more AP item.

Right now his only Cons are his pre-6 weakness, and that is the normalization of his health bar and dependance on spell vamp. In just about all other aspects I feel that Morde is extremely well balanced and just has a Unique play-style.

I have a thread on the forums attemption to get Mordes pre-6 gameplay fixed through a simple chamge and wanted to utilize this as a method for supporting my claim.
