As I have realized that this is not the proper way to build Mordekaiser, I, as odd as this sounds, do not recommend using this build. Unfortunately, I cannot fix this build to build him the right way, as for that would be plagiarism. Please check out Rawbbeh's build at: http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/mordekaiser-done-right-cdr-magic-pen-resists-12687
Thank you for your kind words. I respect a person that takes criticism and tries something new! I am flattered that you retract your build. I do tweak my build from time to time but I do believe that what is in my build is pretty solid.
Thanks again. And to anyone reading this...Remember to vote on builds! Anyone's builds whether it's good or bad and leave a comment explaining why!
And as for focusing on HP: I really don't. I have two health items, one of which I don't even get for the health (Frozen Mallet, which I get for its passive). Atma's Impaler which is based off my health greatly increasing my damage. And then there's Force of Nature which is there for the magic resist/HP5. My previous build, yes, it focused on health. I realized this fault, and fixed it. If you still disagree, please, say so.
Finally, magic pen. What do you get, Void Staff/Sorcerer's Shoes? Because I realized that I have an empty slot I am looking to fill.
But then you see a bunch of items focused on HP and (previously) Attack damage while adding in Sunfire Capes for magic damage aura.
Mordekaisers big strength is his ever filling shield. Yet many of the builds on this site seem to forget that. Auto attacking doesn't fill your shields. Having more HP or HP5 doesnt fill your shields. Having a balance of HP, HP5, Armor/Resist while stacking CDR and Magic Pen is what gets you insane damage (as instead of focusing your items on auto attacking youre focusing on your 4 abilities) and an ever surging boost to your shields.
I'd rather take damage to my gray bar than my green bar. (while at the same time being able to kill the things around me)
The items here especially make it seem like youre shopping for the ability that the item brings to the game...rather than what the item does for your character to make him bringable to the game.
