Hi Guys (and cute girls) , my name is ScottTheTeemo. Come say hi @

I 'm not a support main, however when I get autofilled... I have no trouble climbing on morgana / soraka on support. These two champs are very versatile in usage for different team comps.

Made a very easy guide that everyone can follow and climb with. I'll add more and more details as time flows + update the guide for you guys. GL with the climb!

Stopwatch on secondary is almost a must. Since morg,'s Ult relies on zhonyas very heavily. It'll knock off 600 gold for you as a support (money's tight on support budget).

Also, at lvl 6 you'll have ult + zhonyas combo ready most of the time.

Maxing E will give you faster cooldown on the shield.

However, you can technically max W first. You can POKE HEAVY with this way, works well with poke heavy adc. Great trades for laning phase.

Skill Sequence

Use W in Lane to poke adc (or whoever with bad sustain / pots) . Save your Q if possible for possible jungle ganks.

Do not spam Q too much, you give out your lane pressure if you miss.

Save barrier for your adc , if you position well. (since you could end up with a random "bad adc" if you solo q)
At 6, if you have Ult , stopwatch, flash, ignite ready at full health, you could try to go for the Flash Q, Ult , ignite, stopwatch combo.
This combo usually gets you a kill on whoever you lock down, sometimes double.

REMEMBER, keep your eyes peeled on the jungler! DO NOT engage when he's near botside. If you are not certain, be cautious, save your E/Q just in case.

There really aren't any counters for morg.

More like morg counters every support. (her E... her Q... her kit....)

But if you had to pick annoying champs out...

1. Soraka (stupid champ, stupid sustain )
2. Sona (another stupid champ, stupid sustain)
3. Pyke (my personal ban, since whatever you poke on him, he will regen most of it)
4. Karma (pokes you hard and shields herself.. not really a counter but tricky sometimes)

I think that's it... Yeah, morg is definitely BALANCED. ty riot =D

Morgana faces one challenge though. She gets banned often. Also, she gets picked often by the enemy.

Try to pick her early. Ask your teammates to swap Morgana with something. (buy some popular champs with blue essence on your account.. Just in case..)

Quite like Vlad, she's a champ that can be picked first with no real counters. Utilize that.

Carry rate / how to play her outside of lane

Morg provides a great long range cc, which means she can roam and get a kill for jungler or mid laner. If you are indeed, suffering from bad team luck, try to roam often with her. Let your adc know you are going to roam a bit.

You can roam after pushing the wave in, or as the adc farms at turret. Only roam if your jungler is close, just in case your adc gets dived.

When ganking mid, Use E on yourself from side bush or upper curve leading to lane. Walk up to the mid laner with a good lining before releasing Q. If you have ult, ult first, anticipate their flash and q after their flash.

If all fails, at least you got the enemy's flash for your ULT.
(Practice the Q... predicting, juking, lining up the target..etc)

Ignite Or Exhaust???

This one is tricky.

Generally, you want ignite on morg.
If the enemy has a lot more healing based champs, get ignite. (Against soraka, sona = ignite)

There are a few times where exhaust is A LOT more useful.

Few champs in league are easily destroyed by that one summoner spell: exhaust.

1. Riven
2. Diana
3. Master Yi
4. Yasuo
5. Jax
6. Fiora
7. Aatrox
8. Katarina
9. Renekton
10. Tryndamere
11. Wukong
12. Warwick
13. Xin Zhao
14. Kayn
15. Talon

BASICALLY every melee based 1v9 champ if fed <
these champs are all countered by exhaust during teamfight.

A good rule of thumb is: If they have 2 or more of these champs in the enemy team, bring exhaust.

It will do you wonders.

When to use it?

Use it when the carry tries to dive the backline. Morgana is usually in the backline. Morgana has to disengages basically for these melee 1v9 champs. Ult when they get close, and stun them, or Exhaust.

Sometimes, you can make sure to kill them dead with Exhaust + Q + ULT + zhonyas combo.

against pyke, btw, exhaust over ignite :P
