I cant tell you how many times I have heard that when my first item is a DB. Think about it, you are on an asassin whose only restrictions are health and I GUESS energy if you are a spammer (lrn2Q and auto attack) In the beginning of the game this will increase your ability to last hit minions and do larger amounts of auto attack damage, while also regaining health from life steal andddd.......twin disciplines.the extra 10 attk damage from DB will activate this passive effect meaning you can lane for uhm.....ever if you really want to. It also allows you to be a little bit more *****y because of that extra 100 hp.

So if you dont know already akali is a bit squishy. Now the armor runes you should have will take care of that a bit. but you should still play safe, dont fully commit to anything you arnt SURE you are going to get. Or you will be a feeder and noob and blah blah. The best way to farm minions is hit them with your Q at half health, wait a moment and finish them with the boosted auto attack, this just takes practice, do not auto attack...do not auto attack....do not. Last hits only. Getting your Q first makes for great farming and getting your pool seconds keeps *****es from harassing you, even ranged ones. Using your Q and then activating the mark by auto attacking also give some spell vamp to that life steal.
