Introduction

Hello(again)! This is my third build on mobafire, and it is ok my favorite champion in the game, Akali. Her ability to dash to her target multiple times with her ultimate allows her to be the champion that low health enemy champions don't get away. I have gotten about ten quadrakills with her(including some using this build), and have started to use this build in solo 5v5 ranked to hopefully raise my elo.
The most important elements of why this build actually works are the ability to jungle prior to lvl 6, the rush of the gunblade, and most importantly, the attack speed runes. Having the red buff around lvl 6 allows you to gank champions with ease. Gunblade is the most op first item, as it gives ad, ap, spell vamp, and lifesteal, all great for this build. The extra 300 dmg and slow is the icing on the cake, and I prefer to use it in combo with procing my q, to get great burst damage early. Attack speed runes not only allow you to auto attack faster to do more physical damage, but it allows you to proc your passive and q damage faster which almost counters the Akali shadow dash nerf.

Runes

One goal of the build is to survive as long as possible late game, when the appearance of oracles messes up Akali's ablity to remain unseen. This is why I take magic resist per lvl runes, as most damage is aoe magic and mages have the best burst in LoL, the best counter to Akali. Just because most people don't use attack speed on Akali doesn't mean it isn't good.

Masteries

Surviving in your lane(hopefully) means more farm so you can buy the expensive items that I reccomend. XD This is why I reccomend going 0-21-9.

Items

Vamp septer for lane sustainablity, madred's razor for red buff, gunblade for healing and owing. Wits end for mr and more dps, madred's for even more dps, sorc shoes since 90% of your dmg is magic, thornmail to hurt right click champs, and deathcap to raise the damage of your spells and magic damage from auto attacks.

Summoner Spells

Flash is a must for Akali, as when her shroud is on cd, you end up helpless(it is also great to proc q before lvl 6). Smite is good for anti-jungling, exaust for ad carries, ingite if you face a mundo or swain, and ghost to stay in range to attack your target or just to GTFO.

Summary

Westrice is the greatest Akali ever.
