Introduction

"The cycle of life and death continues: we will live, they will die". Thus spoke the very wise, very powerful dog librarian. Hello, my name is Zachary Goldberg, and I can tell you, ever since riot buffed up Nasus,I have gone positive K/D and got 10 or more kills and 10 or less deaths. But wait, don't blindly buy Nasus and play him, I would first like to give you a few tips about him. AT LEAST READ FARM THE Q!

MOST IMPORTANT! FARM THAT Q!

So Nasus is VERY unique, he uses death as power. When you are fighting a group of minions, you need to hit minions with the last hit to get gold, right? Well, all you have to do, is in stead of auto attacking to kill minions, use the q to finish it off. You may be asking, "for every http://edge1.mobafire.com/images/move.pngminion possible?" and yes, you should. Because each time you finish a champion or a minion off with your q, it adds 3 damage to your next siphoning strike as true damage (meaning armor will have no effect on it and it wont trigger thorn mail). As you can imagine, this is really what makes Nasus so powerful. For example, I had over 300 siphon damage stacked up! I had the best game of LOL in my life, I went 24/8/15, in a normal game.

btw

if you started a game, its probably loaded :P

speaking of the Q... and W E and R, your new skills!

So you want to get your q up as fast as possible while everyone's still lane bound and can get more minions faster to farm q (more levels put in, the less cool down time there is). The q is important, yes, but so is your wither. This W skill slows enemies, at 18, (if you standing, please sit) 35%(slows attack damage this much as well) + 60% at level 5. So anyone who isn't Master Yi, has cleanse, or has quicksilver sash will be going only 5% of their normal speed, so... ya. And now, spirit fire, your e. This skill is a pretty good farming skill, you throw it down and not only do you do initial damage and a dot if they stand in it, but they also get an armor reduction, as you can imagine, its a wonderful farm skill, as well as a bush searcher. And the final skill, fury of the sands, your R or what I like to call, ULTIMATE! Nasus becomes empowered in the sandstorm for 15 seconds, gaining 300/450/600 Health. While the storm rages, he deals 3/4/5 (+0.01)% of nearby enemies' maximum Health each second (240 damage max per second) as magic damage and converts it into bonus Attack Damage. YES I copied and pasted, so sue me.

Your q will get down to a 3 or 2<---(if u use my 2v1 guide) sec cooldown, and if you spirit fire and slow your siphoning strike will be ready. If you q em in the spirit fire, they will have no armor protecting them, thus exceedingly vulnerable to Q's and auto attacks.

An annoying note about 1v2s

The thing about Nasus, is that sometimes, you may end up soloing bottom or top. And that is why I added the 1v2 guide. See, in 1v2s, you will be turret hugging, and ganking, and if you get to cocky, might even get ganked if you venture out to far, so be careful. However, you can still farm the q while hugging the turret, just make sure you get a gank or 2 and kill all the weak minions before the turret.

Runes

As you probably already know (if you play a lot of LOL) that running out of mana in a lane is probably the most annoying thing that can happen in a lane, especially when your solo laneing, because you really can't go back to base without losing a tower. But of course, if your solo laneing, your farming minions on the turret and save at least 200 mana for a gank when the jungle comes up. And speaking of ganking, the reason i have crit chance and crit damage runes is because with the 281% crit damage from infinities edge and the runes, I crit 1130 at 18 regularly with my Q skill.

Pros / Cons

pros
    a farmed q is amazing
    wither is amazing, 95% slow
spirit fire reduces armor and has actually gotten me kills
Nasuses ult sucks up enemies life to attack power and hp.
I usually get 10/5/7 or better on an ok game, and usually get 17/5/10 or better on an amazing game
cons
failure to farm your q skill can mean a disaster for you and your team. If this happens, i recommend hugging top turret and farming q up there as well as building more tank (like a thorn instead of the infinites, but never exchange for the trinity, your nothing without it.)
I've had trouble with mordakaiser, his shield allow him to hit you but do no damage in return.
