AP glyphs, since this afterall is a AP guide. I will get into why you pick AP here instead of CD reduction further down in the guide.
And flat HP quintessences so you wont die so fast when your ulti is on CD.
Went for XP bonus,HP/mp5 and some more mp5 since its lovely on Nasus and you will want these.
When u got the gold for it go buy Berserker greaves. Since u got your passive life steel, u will need the AS to regenerate hp faster in combat. These are better then boots of swiftness because u get 7% movement later from Lich bane when u got it.
After this u need to get Sheen as fast as possible. The Sheen passive ability boost your SS with 80% of your AD, and since u use it alot (short CD and low mana cost) sheen is a must to have on this champ.
When u got Sheen, and boots u can start getting items for Hextech gunblade. I prefer to start with the left tree(AD and life steel) since it benefits you allot more early game since u don´t got Spirit fire on max rank yet. After that i usually get the Spell vamp and later on the main item, the Hextech gunblade.
Now u will have around 160 basic AD and we wont be getting any more AD items. Now u should get Lich bane. Since the 100% AP passive will benefit you more then 120% of your AD with this build, since we are going AP and not AD.
When you got these 3 items. U can probably solo most champs if u got SS at a decent stack (around 80 should be sufficient. But we got 3 more item slots to fill.
The fourth slot will depend on the game you are playing. If you need more HP to survive more, your next item will be Rylai´s Crystal Scepter for the AP and HP and the extra slow on spirit fire. If your hp is fine and you want to deal more dmg. get Nashor´s Tooth for the AS and AP and CD reduce.
Next up is the item you didnt pick for your fourth slot. After that get Guardian Angel, it will ress you if u die. Do i need to say more?
Now your bag should contain these items:
Since these items are expensive, at the end of games i usually only end up with the first 4. but the first 3 will be enough for you to really do some good dmg.
Soul Eater - Nasus drains his foe's spiritual energy, giving him a natural 10/15/20% lifesteal. The lifesteal value increments at levels 1,6, and 11.
Siphoning Strike - Nasus strikes his foe, dealing damage and increasing the power of his future Siphoning Strikes if he slays his target.
Nasus's next attack will deal an additional 30/50/70/90/110 damage (+). Siphoning Strike permanently gains 2 damage whenever it kills an enemy.
This ability is your most important DMG dealer in fights, and since it gains power when you kill stuff with it (killing blows!) you need to start stacking this fast and keep stacking through the entire game( stack on minions, dont save it for killing blow on champs). Try to talk to your lane partner(since you shouldnt solo lane with this char) so he leaves the creep ur attacking alone, so you can stack up SS early in game. at rank 1 it deals about 70-90 dmg depending on runes and specc. So keep track on the creeps health bar.
Wither - Nasus ages his target, decelerating their movement and attack speeds over 5 seconds.
Nasus ages his target, slowing their movement and attack speed by 35% and reducing it further by 3/6/9/12/15% each second for 5 seconds.
Spirit Fire - Nasus unleashes a delayed spirit flame at a location, dealing damage and reducing the armor of enemies who stand on it.
After a brief delay, the target area becomes desecrated. Enemies in the area have their armor reduced by 20/25/30/35/40 and are dealt 20/34/48/62/76 (+0.2) magic damage each second.
Fury of the Sands - Nasus unleashes a mighty sandstorm that batters nearby enemies. While the storm rages, he gains additional Health and drains nearby enemies' max health and converts it into bonus damage for the duration of the skill.
Nasus becomes empowered in the sandstorm for 15 seconds, gaining 300/450/600 health. While the storm rages, he drains 3/4/5 (+0.01)% of nearby enemies' health each second (240 damage max per second) and converts it into bonus attack damage.
Skill Priority: Siphon strike should be used the second its rdy. have Spirit flames up on the attacking target when its rdy. Use your ulti If you have it rdy. Wither on fleeing champions so you can catch up.
In a fight when you have all your spells rdy and mana to cast alot of them, I pref using this order: SS > Spirit flame > Ulti > SS > wither/ spirit flame(Wither if the attacker is running if not use another spirit flame)>SS etc.
In this phase you are a very weak champion. Your job here is to stack up your Siphon strike as fast as possible and to keep enemies away from creeps with spirit flames. If some1 engages you 1n1 you will retreat if you dont have a clear advantage! BE CAREFULL
Now that you are a bit stronger its time to gank. Use your ghost and wither spells to engage ganks. You will be ontop of them before they know it. Use spirit flames infront of them to force them to run right through it.
This is where the teambattles come in. Your ulti makes you a good tank and people tend to undersetimate Nasus in this phaes. It is in this phase you are the strongest, your SS should be stacked to the skies and hurt like hell. Run with your team pop ulti when you engage a team combat, kill the carriers first(wither is your choice here to get to them) and do not engage teamfights you cant win and DONT run in jungle farming creeps ALONE! Alot of people do this and you SHOULDNT! Be aggresive if you got the upper hand, if not be defensive. Analyse the game and how strong champion combination the other team has. Just pay attention to whats going on and dont be greedy.
