I was pretty livid after the patch and Kayle's rework. After 20 matches I was ready to call it quits, however, I'm way too committed to Kayle and couldn't give up! I believe I have found a build that works for me, and hopefully for you all too!

Kayle's AP ratios have gone the way of the dodo, a lot are still gearing into AP and cooldown reduction. I am avoiding that and going pure damage. Since the rework, her attributes have been hit significantly hard with a bat, and the items I have provided help her sustain her former glory. Notice that two main items improve with kills -- this is because Kayle is a minion slaying machine and work wonderfully.

Attack speed runes? Am I crazy? A little bit but it makes for an even stronger early game and with earning that much needed gold. In addition, you are set for as far as attack speed, anything over 1.6 is icing on the cake, and you can focus on other upgrades.

To conclude, this build reclaims her survivability, damage, and speed. If you are having difficulty chasing, though, please feel free to swap your Black Cleaver for Frozen Mallet.

All attack speed. Everything. Go nuts!

Initially, I wanted to max out all Masteries that increased speed. However, because I found she is so squishy, it was best to finish Defensive tree for extra survivability. I did not go into Utility because I don't see much of a mana issue for her anymore, and the experience boost I ironically stay away from because of the theory that she becomes pitiful after level 9 (not with this build)!

Kayle improves poorly during level gains so I wanted to get items that upgrade with her and make up for the gimped attributes. Also, getting bloodthirsty makes you less compelled to tower dive and kill yourself. You can't tower dive anymore, so stop that! Unless you have a flash, but your Divine Blessing is way too short to get greedy.

Max Righteous Fury first, one or two points into Reckoning, and max Divine Blessing. Farm farm farm! Reckoning's only good use is to slow down; every rank applies the same bonus damage. Don't expect any damage from Reckoning itself because it will be nothing more than throwing jell-o at your enemy.

Go to the windows and the walls against minions and enemies that get too close. Early game you do a phenomenal job of getting your opponent back to their tower. You can tease with a Reckoning poke and go back, but don't over extend.

Flash and Teleport. Don't need clarity anymore, and Teleport gives you the heal and mana regen by porting to your spawning pool and coming back to your lane.

I hope you enjoy this build, it has most definitely helped to squelch my defeatist attitude about her rework, and has made playing with her more enjoyable. I will update this as I play more, and make any necessary item changes. Good luck and HAVE FUN! Rawr!
