Introduction

Howdy! This guide is designed for all you frustrated nidalee players that don't know what to do post nerf. I've been experimenting a bit, and I seem to have found something that works most of the time =). This is my first guide so don't be harsh :x.

Skills

The reason I get my first point in bushwhack is quite simple, it allows you to completely 'ward' yourself if you are laning top (as you should be). I find that getting heal first isn't really that much better, as you shouldn't be getting harassed badly enough to heal at level 1 anyway.
skill priority should be
-kitteh form
-heal
-spear
-bushwhack

runes

Runes are basically individual preference, but the ones I have are working quite well, so you can take those =D. Armor to beef you up, mpen and AP are self explanatory.

Items

CDR CDR CDR. I cannot stress how important it is to get your pounce back to a low cooldown. Nidalee is famous for her amazing mobility, and without a short pounce, you don't have it. I have found that getting frozen heart as early as possible is tremendously good, as the armor and CDR both make you extremely powerful early game.
Merc treads are almost always the correct buy, but Sorc boots work fine too.
After you have built your frozen heart and treads, you must make the decision between buying zhonyas or rabadons first. I usually go with rabadons, as the armor and passive from zhonyas is usually not needed at that point in the game. Plus, the ap is fantastic.
Finish the build by getting Lb and AS.

Farming

The one thing most new players have trouble with, especially on Nidalee, is farming. The impact your creep score has on your overall performance is enormous. Nidalee, if played right, is an extremely good harasser and farmer, so you should be gunning for 200 or so cs by the 25 min mark.
What to do:
-Don't be afraid to recall. Better behind a few CS than dead.
-Harass with your auto attacks as much as possible!
-Get blue/red buffs as much as possible. They are the difference between destroying your lane and getting destroyed.
What not to do:
-Do not use spear early in the game. It's just not worth it. Nidalee already has problems with mana, so wasting it on spears isn't a good option.
-Do not act like a mordekaiser, you cannot tank damage early game.
