The reason that i did take Doran's Ring at the beginning and not Amplifying Tome is because she has a very little amount of HP in the beginning.
Next i took Ionian Boots of Lucidity because Nidalee is a support and her spells need low cooldown so she can heal faster.
The only reason why i took Mejai's Soulstealer is, with this build you can do much kills in late game and then it stacks and you get much AP (Ability Power).
