Concerned about being squishy at level 1? Start E.

Concerned about bad early game because of hp problems? Start Boots+3hp.

Concerned about bad ap scaling/damage? Get a Lich Bane.

Concerned about bad tank? Merc Treads + Resists + CDR.

Mordekaiser is an EXTREMELY flexible champion in terms of how he is built, and can be EXTREMELY devastating if built properly.

I think this build is okay, but it could use some improvements.

If you're going to focus on AP, then you need a Lich Bane, and probably a deathcap.

If you're going to focus on tankiness, then you need more CDR.

If you want to use a tanky AP build, just toss a Guardian Angel and a QSS into an AP build.

I won't -1, because it really doesn't deserve it, but i won't +1 either.

Doran's is good for me because I too like aggressive play, and I don't like to be pushed around easily, but hey, if Amp Tome is better for you, go ahead! Glad it's working out for you, and you have my vote!

The dorans shield was slightly better, but worse in some cases. I love to play agressive, I play very high risk high reward and I felt like it held me back. Sure the 10 armor and the HP was nice, but I didnt feel like myself trying that item. The FoN was super sexy and Ill stick with that, and the Randuins wasnt fully build because the game didnt even last that long! Liking these new items.

Of course you're doing something right, just a bit of quirks that need fixing. Since you like spell vamp, I'd get Will of The Ancients from Hextech revolver, because A) it's cheaper and B)gives more AP. Don't know about the loss of AD, though...

EDIT: Saw that you switched GA for Abyssal Scpeter. Now this build is KICK ***. You're both tanky AND deal out a lot of damage! Only one thing, and don't get me wrong, but I don't know about Lich Bane on Morde. Never used it personally... I'd probably switch it for Rylai's, but hey, if it works for you, why not? I might try it out when I get the time.
