Nocturne is a melee assassin with really strong attacks. He is a strong 1v1 fighter, but also a good jungler. His passive is very useful to take down minions and it is also effective in the jungle.

"Greater mark of Desolation" make your armor penetration very strong, and with the "Greater Seal of Resilience" you get even stronger.
With "Greater Glyph of Malice" your critical strike chance gets very good, at the same time, when you get a critical strike you get a lot of hp because of the lifesteal.
I choose "Greater Quintessence of Strength" to get more attack damage and then be a stronger 1 on 1 champion.

With the masteries you get great armor penetration, attack speed and attack damage.

Start with Doran's blade to get some more health, attack damage and also some life steal.
After that it is smart to buy "Berserker's Graves" to get some attack speed and movement speed.
Then, with "The Brutalizer" you get some attack damage, but also cooldown reduction, that is very nice.
With the "B.F Sword" you get some attack damage before you buy "The Bloodthirster" to get som life steal in addition.
With "Zeal" you get some attack speed before you buy "Infinity Edge" to get you critical chance very strong.
After that you should upgrade "Zeal" to "Phantom Dancer" to get some critical chance and even more attack speed.
At last you should sell "Doran's blade" and buy "Banshee's Veil".


Hint
It is smart to get some health- and mana potions early game, just to don't get empty for mana or have low health. This is just to be stronger early game.

If you are trying to escape it is smart to use "Unspeakable Horror" so you can fear them at a critical moment.

It is smart to use "Shroud of Darkness" right before you are using "Unspeakable Horror", than you can't be stunned.

Another tip is to use "Unspeakable Horror" in close fights. Then it is harder to take you down, beacause the enemy gets feared.

With this guide you should be able to go out there and beat every champion you are fighting against!!!
