I've changed it up a little bit with a Frozen Mallet at the end, and I plan to add a LOT more detail to this guide, it was essentially the first serious one I wrote and I can't believe how bad it is looking back :)

Don't expect anything up to the standards of my jungling guide but I'll get it pretty darn close!

Thanks for the feedback!

Looking back on this guide (I made it loooooooong ago) I think I should have put a BV earlier and a GA after that, it's two easy ways to ensure survivability in team fights imo :)

This guide is great! I don't understand why anyone would down vote this, dumb trolls I suppose. This guide is definitely underrated, I actually found this guide to be better than the top rated Jungle Nocturne guide! I'm a bit new to playing Nocturne but this guide definitely helped, I've done matches and have personally done really well, I like the jungle path a lot. The only thing I do is get a frozen mallet somewhere in between when I notice I'm lacking a little survivability, no specific time when I get it but it definitely helps a lot.

Thanks. :D

Thanks, glad you liked it!

I know for a fact at least one of them was that troll above you, who literally went around downvoting every single Noc guide so his could get high.

If you're playing an AD champion without auto attacking, you're doing it wrong. That's what an AP champ should be doing.

Twitch and Eve -
A. Twitch isn't a viable jungler and Eve is barely viable after her nerf
B. Oracle's > Full Champion
C. Paranoia > Stealth for initiating.
D. There are perfectly viable assassins without stealth, like LeBlanc.

Picking CDR just for Manamune is pants on head ******ed, you shouldn't run out of mana often in lane as Nocturne with runes, and it defeats the whole purpose of using a Tear of the Goddess, to get mana back, spamming skills as much as possible will LOWER your mana.

As a jungler, you should be killing the golem as much as possible for EXPERIENCE, rather than just for mana, and it shouldn't really run out before it respawns. You can easily last 3-5m without blue buff anyway, and it's spawn time isn't too far off that. If you die whilst getting it then you need to ward. You're not wasting the buffs, you shouldn't get them just for MP5/CDR, it's free XP for junglers too.

I realise he doesn't have much health, but Nocturne's supposed to be an assassin, and that's exactly what he excels at, he has some CC, a great escape mechanism and a spell shield too, so he isn't completely squishy.

Your CDR and HP5 runes worry me, especially when you talked about having mana problems, you should get MP5 runes, and CDR isn't good on him, being an AD carry you're all about hitting them your auto attack and using your abilities to make it that much more potent.

Blue buff is great, but its time consumming, and if you die your enemy gets your buffs and it refreshes on them, so its not a great buff to rely on. Not only that but the buff timer on it is always running, if you dont use it to its full pontential your wasting the buffs, and its always being wasted as its minutes ticks away.

Yes, nocturne is a assassin, but i think hes more of a hybrid assassin, shaco is more of a better assassin than nocturne, the ability to cloak and run away, also eve, and twitch is also a great assassin, the ability to run and not be seen and follow is a great assassin, nocturne more of a hybrid assassin fighter/assassin.

His shield is great only blocks one skill, thats why the banshee veil allows him to block 2 skills, also his fear skill take some time to actually activate the fear part of the skill.

Nope, the CDR is best on him why because it works with Manumane, the more you spam that DuskBringer skill, the more that mana increases as well as your base damage. I only threw the hp regen per 5sec per lvl is to go along with the bloodthrister, since i couldnt find a good suitable runes for the Seals yet.

My build is not auto attacking, your soppose to spam your Duskbringer as much as possible, because like I said it expand your mana, and your base damage as well, and if you do die, you dont lose those bonuses.

This is not a bad build, I play against someone with this build, and that individaul or person using this build didn't last long against my build for nocturne.

I did not try this build out, but looking at the build items, you dont have alot of health, and in a large team fight your not going to last. You also have alot of mana issue as well, if you plan on spamming Duskbringer as a main skill, your run in mana problems.

Over all squishy and less defense in the armor and magic resist. Look at mine build, it covers alot of his lacking defense.
