Introduction

Hey guys this is my very first guide on mobafire with my most used character, Nocturne. I have constantly tried different builds in custom games and then see what works and real games, and came up with this. Attack speed and crit damage is my main source of damage. This build always works for me, but if you dont like this build so be it, can't work for everyone.

Items

I have played 5v5 games and 3v3 games and got these items, so i know its possible. First off i start off with the vampiric scepter. My health is always fine in the beginning of the game considering i have that and the use of noc's passive, umbra blades. Next is berserkers greaves. The attack speed really helps to regenerate some lost health quicker in the lane, and the movement speed definitely comes in handy when chasing a fellow champion, just make sure you hit the duskbringer, they wont get away =]. Wriggles always is enough lifesteal for me in the end. Be my guest to trade it in for a bloodthirster, but with the madreds razors and attack speed, you hit your 500 bonus damage and get alot of health within a short amount of time. The zeal and the BF sword for the next two items really helps to increase your crit damage and help for movement speed. Finally you upgrade to your phantom dancers and black cleavers. This is where everything comes in to play. your attacking so fast your life constantly heals itself while you are attacking at the opponents armor, quickly taking out their health. Eventually, if its a long game, you can sell your greaves and get another phantom, that really pisses people off lol. Just remember though, the bloodthirster at the end of the list is for more attack damage. Swap out the wriggles for it and its great too. I tend to use wriggles for the ward it gives me. I like knowing if im gonna be ganked personally, since half the time my team won't tell me =/

Skill Sequence

To be honest, i just messed around with the skill sequence. My sequence always changed depending on the type of heroes i am playing. But, i will say to max out unspeakable horror asap. The longer the fear duration, the more chance for a team kill.

Summoner Spells

I use exhaust and ignite for my summoner. Pretty self explanatory. My exhaust is for the poeple who try and flash away, then i bring them back by hitting them and chasing them with duskbringer and using my unspeakable horror. Finally if u dont want to turret dive but u know their health is low, fire a trail of unspeakable horror, run and ignite and use the trail to run back, avoiding more than one hit from the turret.

Runes

My rune choices are quite simple. I use the greater marks of desolation for armor penatration. These combined witht he Quint's really allow you to do damage to everyone, tanks and all. Then the greater seals of the furor really help with your criticals. With the combination of the phantom dancers and black cleavers, the crit damage you do is amazing. I'd say around 800's for sure, 1k crit damage with all the buffs. Then the glyphs of alacrity reallly help for that extra bonus attack speed.

Masteries

My 21-0-9 Mastery is self explanitory, except for my utilities. Offense is the basic 21 for a DPS character. The only thing that may change are the points used for exhaust and ignite, since thats how i roll. No defense is needed for the amount of life you gain with each second. I've maxed my attackspeed to 2.5 per sec so health is regained quite quickly. My utilities probably differ more since i dont know what to choose really. I just chose what i thought looked good, except the greed i chose because it was the last point i had. Anyone with a better recommendation please feel free to let me know.
