Why ghost as primary Summoner spell ?
Why ghost as primary Summoner spell ?
As I mention in the Summoner Spell section, Cho is slow and fat. He can be run down by a lot of champions, so I like taking Ghost to get away easier. It's also fun to run someone down YOURSELF by being a giant monster running across the map.
Righteous is primary item for cho
The other thing with RG is that you lose the speed-boost / activate the shockwave when you're in proximity of an enemy. If someone's running you down, especially if they're melee, you'll slow them, but since you're slow yourself, if they have any mobility in their kit, they'll catch back up.
Do you plan to update it for the new season?
I have ben seeing that pros like Faker and bjergsen on Mage' Gath buy elixir early and rush morellonomicon, skipping the RoA. is that even viable on an average player like me? thanks a lot for this guide. I love Cho by the way <3
I just like RoA because Cho likes the extra health, mana, and AP. Morello's passive though is very strong in the competitive scene, I'd assume, because it helps him bully other champions out of lane. Once he gets them below 40%, his sustain trumps pretty much everything.
Also, in the pro scene, there's more communication between players. The enemy mid laner will see that Cho's trying to get a RoA first, so he's sacrificing a bit of combat power early in order to invest in it for later. He might ask the jungler to camp mid so that it takes a while for Cho to actually build the RoA if he's zoned from farm.
As I've said countless times, my builds are not the tell-all end-all to Cho; use what you think is best. I'm just explaining what I did to be successful with him.

GREAT guide on Cho'Gath. I see the whole lot of effort you have put in here. I've recently started playing as a tank (though I am lvl 30) and I found that Cho is my type of champ. Everything here is explained so beautifully and in such detail. I rate this guide +1 only because I can't give you more. Thank you very much!
And thank you for the awesome comment. I did put a lot of work into the guide and I'm glad to hear that people are liking it. :)
Great guide man. I've been looking for a more versatile pick that's still fun to play. You know how it is when last pick instalocks whatever position they want regardless of the previous picks... Definite +1 do you have any intention of showing some gameplay?
Eh, I've never been one to record myself doing any kind of gameplay.
I understand how nice videos can be for guides, but they can become outdated very quickly. I could be facing a champion that has since been reworked, or perhaps the jungle changes again, etc.
I'd rather avoid videos for these reasons; editing my parts of the guide to keep up with the game should suffice.
