Since DrHamburg has been pestering me to write him a guide, and since it is hard to watch him embarrass himself every game he thinks locking in Alistar is a good idea, I've decided to instruct him on proper battle-milk distribution techniques.

The runes I choose to use maximize AListar's natural tankiness, whil allowing him to do decent damage with Headbutt. These runes are not set in stone.

I choose to run full support so that since Alistar's role is half support it allows him to have improved CV and mana regen, allowing you to stay in lane longer and more efficiently.

The items I choose for Alistar give him good gold per 5, since you will not be farming, while also supplying him with good lane sustain and tankiness. If you are in a solo lane I suggest a sheen for the additional harass.

This is where we elite players stand above those other people who choose to skill order their E first. Putting your first point in the E, really? How stupid can you be?
Anyway leveling headbutt first gives you great harass, and allows you to set up kills, and displace enemies. If you right click your target then headbutt and follow through you will score a melee attack.
