First off.. WTF
Yes, thats right, 9/11/10. It seems even more ******ed than it looks, right? Why in **** would i ever want things to be that split up and random?
Offensive Tree:
Udyr's main source and output of damage is his Tiger stance. You can try and argue with me, but you cant argue with a 1.7 AD ratio on it. Even though it scales off of AD, it does magic damage. If our main source of damage is going to be magic based, then we need to make sure we take the 9 in offense. This allows us to also drop the 1 point into smite.
Defensive Tree:
I drop 3 in the MR, and 1 into the armor. This is simple, because we are starting out as a jungler, we are going to get armor first anyway. Putting it into MR allows us to be pretty balanced. I take 4 into dodge and one into its speed bonus, because of the dodge quints and yellows. You start with 12% dodge, which is very high. I throw another two into the reduced damage from minions, which you can put into hardened skin if you really feel its needed.
Utility Tree:
You can NOT jungle if you dont have the minimum Exp gain, and the 1 point into Utility Mastery. This is not negotiable, and with the left over point im throwing 2 into Utility Mastery, and it fits nicely.

One day, while browsing youtube, i came across a video by TheOddOne on his counter jungling nunu build. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmc4xsPIcf0 ) From watching this video, i thought the exact same thing about his runes, what kind of crack head idea was this? But he explains it very nicely.
In a not so perfect quote:
"I take 10 armor pen because that is the most any small jungle camp will have in the jungle, and the rest i throw into attack speed. While i may be slower on the bigger camps, i will gain my speed on the smaller ones."
I took that idea, and ran with it when it came to this page. With exactly 10 armor pen, and the rest going into attack speed, ive found things to flow nicely. Using these runes ive been allowed to maximize the dodge passive on Udyr, and do so while jungling.

First off, theres always more than one way to play a champion.
Second, there were flaws in that guide. I emphasized tiger, and didnt have a point into the magic pen.
Third, this is meant to be a sustained, anti-tank, junging tanky DPS guide. This guide, is a whole lot more practical than the last one. It does not include any life steal, but it includes so much resistances that lifesteal isnt needed as much.
The sheer damage of a trinity force + madreds claw is daunting when it comes to udyr. You will shred through them like you couldnt believe.

Taken from my last guide, because its still the same.
Depending on what side you are starting on, you want to take this jungle path. It is the default for many junglers. Marked also are Ganking spots. Color coded to fit the side youre on. Remeber: You want to pinch them in, so putting as much distance for them to have to travel to escape, is desireable.
