You lack the sheer amount of raw tankiness as a usual Gnar (though still pretty durable) so ults in Mega will either have to be used as a traditional flank or a flash-engage, since otherwise you'll be poked down pretty hard when trying to circle the enemies for a chance to move in.
It definitely takes some practice; even I'm still not as adequate with it as much as I'd like!
With the changes of the build for Abyssal mask, it requires to buy Catalyst into Abyssal Mask, which gives it 300 mana now.
Do you still think it is viable even with the wasted stats?
Has even matchups against stuff like Fiora and Wukong who can retaliate more effectively.
Can burst a bit harder than harass matchups like Teemo and Heimer if a little lead is acquired.
