Okay, so here it is true damage poppy. It is widely believed that rushing the tri-force is the way to go when it comes to poppy. Well I believe that this is the superior build and can create the best lane dominance and sustained damage possible. Okay then let's get to the details.

Pros:
Great damage
Can Focus down any target VERY fast
Excellent ganker
Great teamfighter
Difficult to kill
Great burst damage
Can tower dive effectively

Cons:
Survivabilty is somewhat of an issue
Needs Farm
Gets shut down by cc fast(then again so does everything)

Marks-These give you the armor pen. you need to maximize your damage and destroy anything(including tanks).

Seals-This gives you sustainability in your lane so you don't have to worry about masteries.

Glyphs- Gives you survivability for late game, and while your laning, and helps with not getting you brain nuked out of you.

Quints.-Again like the marks give you the armor pen to get through the other opponents armor.

Why i chose to go 0-9-21 in my masteries. I chose to put 21 in utility because it provides far more better thing such as cool down reduction, extended buff duration, higher experience gaining, and some more mana regen. that will give you a laning edge. Then I put 9 in defense just for the survivability.

Merc treads- help with survivablity and cc

Youmuu's ghostblade- give GREAT burst damage and coupled with the other item pretty much instantly kills anything in a few seconds.

Infintiy Edge- This is the second core item which allows you to carry your whole team with.

Banshees veil- Its just so you don't get disabled before you can ult someone, or so the person you ulted doesn't disable you.

Last whisper- Is the icing on the cake and provides a good amount of damage but mainly the armor pen. that gives you the true damage you want

Last item- You most likely won't get to this before the game is over,but if you do, then just get and item that is appropriate for the situation you're in.


Side Note- In the item order above it says to get negatron cloak then last whisper, and not just building straight for the banshees veil. This is to make sure you can get the last whisper as fast as possible, while maintaining survivability. You won't need it really because your ult will provide enough survivability in team fights.

Not much to it just maxing out your main damage spell first then your other damage spell, while picking up your charge, because you need it to single out your target in a fight.

Flash-This is so you can set up some nice ganks, escape routes

Ghost-Also allows you to set up nice ganks and escape routes, and also synergizes well with your W to chase down an enemy.

FARM well is the key to success in rank and don't feed(obviously). Poppy isn't the best solo so I suggest going bot lane because it works out better for farming and not dying.
