Samurai, I used to do so, but it's just not working for me. I've been looking at my games log, and all my victories had that item sequence. Everytime I put anything between Bloodthirst and Infinity Edge I lost.

My reason for starting with Vampiric Scepter and Aegis of Zeonia is that you switch easily from a "First Blooder" to an endurance lane farmer.

So, as you can see this site is mainly a users personal builds and suggestions. This was my suggestion. Try it, and if it doesn't work for you the way it does for me, you are free to try anything.

I also want to mention that Last Whisper doesn't worth the bother to buy too early since you won't be doing many "Standard Attacks" on players, but mostly on mobs. And for farming you get a decent attack speed from the Berserker Boots.
