The purpose of this build is to show the effectiveness of pantheons spear toss. Pantheon is a dps/melee who i have designed into a powerful killing machine with his amazing armor penetration.

You don't have to have the armor and HP quints but the armor pen. and cd runes are very necessary for his effectiveness.

I know many people will disagree with this and im completely open to hearing thoughts. i enjoy this 15-0-15 mastery because it gives the the damage i need while also giving me the mana regen that makes pantheon so mana hungry. the 15-0-15 also gives me the extra movement speed to chase down enemy champs at lvl 1 when ganking/chasing/running away from the enemy.

Attempt laning with other champions that have stun spells like Taric and Sion. You will have the double stun power that allow you to show your deadliness. Important: don't start harassing heavily with your spear at lvl 1, it doesn't very much damage. wait until your lvl 3 or 5 to really start harassing with your spear. At lvl 1 and 2 if you know you can get a kill of the enemy go for it but try to let the minions push and try last shooting the minions. last shooting minions is very important for having a good late game. DON'T DIE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO LAST SHOOT i caught myself doing this all the time with other champs. i'll go up for one minion with my melee champ and get pooped on but garen and cait.

When i first go back i try to reach lvl 6 so that i can jump back into the lane as fast as possible. Your ult is also a very good ganking ability. thanks to his most recent buffs his ult now comes down a lot faster than it use too and allows pantheon to be a much more effective killer.
