This build is kinda fial, if you want some real survivabilty you should go for force of nature

ive played pantheon and have seen tank builds of him do decent but have never seen him lead a game unlike a pure damage pantheon who if played right can lead a game easily.

Survivability build = tank build, at least in my dictionary.
If you are "surviving" and not dealing tons of damage, you are a tank. Am i wrong somewhere in my logic?

Also no clense? but instead of it, exhaust? Your nightmare as you write are mages and so on, clense would be a smarter choice.

As for cost, you shouldnt have problems with getting items as panth even tank one, not that i agree with panth going tank... i srsly think that this is a waste of champion in that build. I would even make Annie a tank instead of panth. He just scales too good, and wasting that potential is kinda odd.

A Survivability build is used to ensure you don't die.
A tank build is used to ensure you can, as Seriouswood said, take on extremely heavy punishment.
Reasons why Cleanse isn't necessary:
your 451 movement speed should get you out of anything. (except for a 4 or 5-man gank)
not having exhaust will impact your kills for the game, I mean, aside from Pantheon's stun, which has a long CD, how are you going to not let your enemy get away? In all honesty, not having exhaust could mean at least 5 less kills for the game, and you want kills!

I like the fact that this is new, and I would even enjoy seeing a tank build for every character- sometimes just for the lol's. That being said, Pantheon is definitely better as maxing damage output // glass cannon-status. I like this though +1.

Maybe you want to throw a banshee's veil in there? Banshee veil helps a lot with its one spell negation passive and a damage item in early game so you can farm at least. I've tried a survivability pantheon before, pretty much similar to yours because our party pretty much had no tank. I didn't get lots of kills, but at the same time not tons of deaths, but plenty of assists.

I think your right.. This build is in dire need of Banshee's Veil. I was about to throw it in before I published the build, but I wasn't sure if it would be more helpful than having Force of Nature. I now doubt that extra movement speed was necessary for a tank. Thanks for the help!

Sorry guy, but i don't see a tank Pantheon being effective. His total health endgame is still low for tank standards. His skills are based off damage and your damage is low, not to mention he has no crowd control or defensive skills to eat hits like a taunt, knockup, knockback, silence, etc. People should be afraid to be around a tank 1v1 or even 1v2. I really feel like someone would just laugh when your stun, heartseeker strike, spear combo tickles them. Your description says that you should not approach 2 magic users at once, but a tank is expected to jump in first in a team fight and eat hits from all 5 people at once. The only thing you got going for you is your high dodge, and anyone with burst AP or a sword of divine will rape you in seconds. Also how are you going to get money with this build if its expensive and you don't waste mana on minions. Heartseeker is your best farming ability.

Yes, it is somewhat low, but you have to factor in his block move/armor/dodge
Yes, skills aren't going to do a lot of damage, but as this is not a DPS build, why would they?
This build does have major weaknesses against some specific items/champions like perhaps the ones you mentioned. My worst favorite champion to fight with this build is Kog'Maw. :( he does so much damage, makes me cry...

I think you may have my build confused with a tank build... This is not a "tank" tank build. This is a survivability build. It is designed to make sure you don't get killed.

But what is not dying without damage output? As you said, damage is low :O oh no!
The damage output.... Comes from the Phantom Dancer! You must rely on the phantom dancer for your damage output. Your criticals will range from 170-300...170 being minimum and 300 being maximum.

Let me give an example of how hard it is to take damage using this build...

A normal physical attack has to break past the BLOCK and if that doesn't work it has to break past the DODGE and if that doesn't work, you can rely on your armor.
A normal magical attack might frustrate you.
A heavy magical attack like an ultimate might overwhelm you.
But you can then rely on your HP regen, and if the magical attack isn't locked on, you can avoid it. Like Kennen's Shurikan or Twisted Fate's Wild Cards.
