Pantheon: The Un-Nerfable Hoplite

Intro- Pantheon is a DPS character, and tends to be very squishy if not built properly or by using the correct runes. His abilities open up many opportunities for any Pantheon player.

Runes- The runes that I have chosen are Armor Penetration marks, Flat Armor Seals, Flat Magic Resist glyphs, and flat Armor Penetration Quiescences. These runes provide a Pantheon player with early forgiveness of his squishiness and allows the player to gain abilities and be able to dominate enemies with your Q ability via the Armor Penetration runes.

Masteries- The masteries shown here are 21-9-0. Using 21 points the offensive tree is standard for most AD champions, and provides extra attack damage and armor penetration. It also includes a little bit of cool-down reduction. The defensive tree allows for some extra armor and magic resistance, as well as a bit extra health. This is geared towards assisting in early game, while still assisting late game.

Abilities

Passive- Pantheon's passive allows Pantheon to block an attack over 45 damage points after using 4 attacks or abilities. This is useful for tower-diving enemy champions as it blocks all damage from even a tower shot.

Q- The spearshot is Pantheon's signature ability. This ability is a dot ability and when cast gives you a targeting reticule. You then select an enemy champion or minion and click, and the spear is thrown at them, not able to miss. It does considerable damage to most champions, and is assisted by the armor penetration in both my masteries and runes.

W- Pantheons W is Aegis of Zeonia. This ability allows you to click target champion or minion. This then launches Pantheon at the target, deals damage, and stuns them. This ability is key in Pantheon's burst of abilities. Dropping Aegis first, then spearshot, then Heartseeker Stike (his E) will do amazing damage to target champion.

E- Pantheon's E is Heartseeker strike. This ability does a decent amount of damage, and is good for finishing off enemy champions and damaging minions. This ability is best utilized by using it after throwing a spearshot in Pantheon's burst combo.

R- Pantheon's ultimate is Grand Skyfall. This ability allows Pantheon to jump anywhere within a circle on the map and deal damage to anyone in the area. This ability is very good at finishing off champions behind a turret and jumping into team fights and adding a great amount of damage to any team fight.
