Ah. Thanks for telling me. I always thought Mage Chain's range didn't increase. I tested it, and I my Mage Chain's range is significantly shorter then my Arcanopulse range when I'm in Locus of Power, so I assume it didn't increase. Also, didn't Athene's Unholy Grail get buffed recently? It has more cooldown reduction now. If Athene's isn't viable for rushing, then what do you suggest would be the best item path for Xerath?

K, so first thing is that you should not go defense tree with Xerath because blue buffs makes your champion twice as useful as without. Which is why utility tree is mandatory, even aside from mana regen etc.

Second is that you should not rush Athene's under any circum stances. Yes, it is a fine item and chalice too but the time to upgrade comes really late. Atm thanks to the recent nerfs it's just not viable to rush it on Xerath.

"Mage Chain's rage is not increased by your Locus of Power". That's pure false information. Delete this asap because Xerath players will know what you are talking about but for the rest and the guys learning this champion, those who look at the guide, will be mislead with something that's totally not true. What W does is increase the entire range. It's just that your E has a short range anyway and thus got less than the others. But as you said it, it's wrong.

I don't play Xerath much, but I'm unsure about Ignite. Usually you can finish them off from a long ways away because of your range, and your abilities have more range than Ignite (besides his W of course).

It also looks like this is pretty incomplete. No items or runes section.
