Introduction
This is my first attempt at writing a guide, so please don't expect too much fancy stuff in here, I'll try to keep it functional.
Because this is my first guide I chose Pantheon, the Artisan of War to be the champion discussed here. I really love to play him, I guess he's something like my "Main", if I got something like this. I got a ****load of wins with him, because he's my alltime favourite and I'll show you the way I build him here.
=> Please do NOT downvote this guide because of my bad english (I'm not a native speaker) or some writing mistakes, and I hope you test my build before raging against it :)
Okay. For the Runes I run:
ARMOR PENETRATION MARKS
-Not much to say here. Simply the best ones for Pantheon.
DODGE SEALS
-This is my personal favourite, even on a more offensive Champion like Pantheon. Feel free to take others, but I recommend these.
FLAT MAGIC RESISTANCE GLYPHS
-Personally I like them, because it gives you a bit more survivability. Feel free to take COOLDOWN REDUCTION instead.
FLAT HEALTH QUINTESSENCES
-These are my choice as well, take ARMOR PENETRATION instead for a little more damage, but i prefer these because they give a lot more lane durability earlygame.
ARMOR PENETRATION MARKS
-Not much to say here. Simply the best ones for Pantheon.

For Masteries I go with 9 Points in Offense, taking Cooldown Reduction and one point in Armor Penetration.
21 Points go in Utility for better Regenerations, Buff duration, Cooldown Reduction, Some XP, Movespeed and your Summoner Spells, but more about that later.
Other Masteries may be good too, If u wish you can play in a different way, for example with 21/0/9, 19/0/11, 0/21/9 or whatever you prefer.

The Summoner Spells I usually use are GHOST and FLASH.
The reason for that is that you're quite squishy and these will save your *** quite often, AND they are awesome to ensure kills. For example, by combining a FLASH with your W-SPELL you can jump over a giant distance instantly.
OTHER OPTIONS:
EXHAUST
(=> Nice spell, I used to play with it. May be a good alternative.)
IGNITE
(=> Good for crushing Warwicks, Mundos and all these guys. Remember: can ONLY used offensively, not to chase AND to escape like FLASH or GHOST :) )
CLEANSE
(=> May be a Lifesaver in some situations, personally I don't like it.)

Okay, we obviously take DORANS BLADE as first item.
It's an awesome choice because of the extra Survivability and the nice AD boost.
After that, I rush a BRUTALIZER because it's an insane item (cheap and effective).
Then I buy the BASIC BOOTS before I grab a PICKAXE.
Now I finish the boots, possible choices here are discussed later in this section ("Choice of Boots")
When you're done with that, finish your LAST WHISPER out of your PICKAXE. By now, you should already be on the hunt, slaying enemy after enemy after enemy.
Now for more AD and some Lifesteal I build a BLOODTHIRSTER. This helps you to deal some serious damage lategame, in combination with your high Armor Penetration you will even make Tanks cry for their Mommys.
By now the game should be over, if it is not you can continue with:
FROZEN MALLET
(=> Slow, big HP boost)
another BLOODTHIRSTER
(=> BIG Lifesteal, even more AD)
finishing YOUMUU'S GHOSTBLADE
(=> Really nice Active Ability (...) )
But that's more situational and depends on your own playstyle.
CHOICE OF BOOTS:
MERCURY'S TREADS
(=> The ones I prefer. CC Reduction, MRes? Awesome!)
BERSERKER'S GREAVES
(=> More offensive, I don't think they will help you a lot..)
BOOTS OF SWIFTNESS
(=> Normally I really like those, but not on Pantheon. Not very efficient choice here.)
Don't even think of other boots. You have enough CDR in your Masteries, so the Ionian Boots aren't necessary, Ninja Tabi is useless for you, Magic Penetration too. I won't write about taking Boots of Mobility.
It's an awesome choice because of the extra Survivability and the nice AD boost.

So know you know how to build a good Pantheon, but maybe I can help you a little bit more.
There are some small Advices that may give your gameplay a significant boost.
=> LANE PHASE: With Pantheon, dominating your lane is quite easy. Harass with SPEAR SHOT if u think you can afford the Mana Costs, Combine AEGIS OF ZEONIA and HEARTSEEKER STRIKE to take half of their Life in about 2 seconds, and feel free to engage in early Towerdives, because of your insane passive!! You may want to start with your SPEAR SHOT, take the first turret shot with your shield, jump the enemy with your AEGIS OF ZEONIA (followed by HEARTSEEKER STRIKE!), block the second turret shot with your REFRESHED shield too!!
=> BUFFS: A red buff works terribly well on Pantheon. So ask your jungler in Mid- or Lategame if it's alright for him if you take one.
=> ULTIMATE: Placing your Ultimate right may take some practice. Remember to calculate the way the enemies are walking until they see the circle around them. Sometimes cutting of a path may be smarter than trying to land on their head.
=> ZONING: After Shurelia's video EVERYBODY should know about zoning, but if you don't, watch the video on the bottom. Zoning works well with your SPEAR SHOT and your W + E Combo, so always try to Outzone your Lane enemies.
There are some small Advices that may give your gameplay a significant boost.
