Choose Champion Build:

  • LoL Champion: Poppy
  • LoL Champion: Poppy

Introduction

Hi, I am a huge lol fan. My pro idols are doublelift, westrice and bigfatjiji. The name of the wind is a great book to read for those of you who like to read yet haven't heard of it. Well let's get down to business.... shall we?
The first build is my personal favorite way to play poppy: a kill all ad dps carry that is hard to get rid of.
The second build is an effective jungling support build, that should only be used for fun or if your team would not have a jungler elsewise.

Masteries

1st: I go 21-0-9, for the attack speed, crit chance, crit damage, and 5% bonus damage.
2nd: 0-21-9, standard jungling masteries, with reduced damage from minons and longer jungle buffs.

Runes

1st: Full crit dmg runes yeild the highest dps lategame with over 80% crit.
2nd: armor yellows to help solo blue buff, some attack speed, flat damage, and/or armor pen helps here.

Items

1st: Rush bloodthirsters to get your 200 damage, then buy phantom dancers for crit and attack speed, then infinity edge for more damage and crit, and lastly last whisperer for some armor pen.
2nd: Start with lifesteal to survive the jungle, and rush madreds razor to maximize jungle speed.

Summoner Spells

As poppy, the main spells I ever take are exaust, flash, ghost, smite, and ignite. Flash is probally the most usefull spell, as you should use it to exscape or position yourself for your charge.

Summary

This is the build I choose to obtain for poppy, in order to fully ultilize the potential of her ultimate. Followed to the letter lategame, you can kill squishy champions in two to three hits. When this build in completed it is possible for you to solo their entire team by yourself. You should ult a: healer, or champion without cc. I'll give a couple of examples: Jarvan, soraka, sona, taric, but never a carry or someone that does true damage. As you ult, ghost and kill their squishy champions. If a Kassadin or Leblanc got away, its ok, dont chase yet. Now focus tanky healers and champions with hard cc. Lastlty you should be able to 2v1 or 1v1 any remaining champions with your lifesteal and passive. Good luck, have fun, and please, don't feed.
