What does Warmog give Rengar? Just a whole lot of HP, which are kinda useless, you could get Frozen Mallet which are a better item for rengar
That sounds like a pretty good idea, i'd pick up the necklace if im only doing good tho, since it is a snowball item.
This idea is more of a AD offtank sorta thing, you dont have that tankieness but you will get more AD.
Other than that it's a good idea :)
Yeah, i found him really fun to play AD offtank, i think playing him just tank does not take out his full capacity as a champ.

Here, I'll just go ahead and make it easy for you.
Savagery = +25 base per rank, +5% aspd (+10% empowered), no reduction in cooldown
Battle Roar = +45 base per rank, +10 armor/MR, 1s reduction in cooldown
Bola Strike = +45 base per rank, +5% slow, 1s reduction in cooldown
It's pretty simple math people. Savagery doesn't, in comparison, get much better AT ALL compared to his other skills. Even if you want to bring up "Well, you do it twice after you have max stacks of ferocity!!!" Yes...and it does 50 more damage if you ranked it up instead of something else and gives you a fairly negligible bonus to your attack speed (the increased bonus per rank is fairly negligible, not the initial base bonus, that's tops). Decreasing the cooldown on your other spells will also mean you generate ferocity more quickly, so you can do more of your double Q's.
The scaling doesn't improve each rank, and the scaling is what makes savagery hit so hard, NOT the base damage. The marginal increase in damage/aspd, in my opinion, is not worth losing the added utility; ranged harass, a slow which is almost necessary for him to kill a target who isn't already at half life past lvl 3, a slow which is his only means of improving escape outside of his ult, aoe dmg (which isn't mitigated by armor...minor detail I know), and jungle/lane sustain.
That being said, I still always take savagery as my first skill because it's simply going to be the most useful at lvl 1 for various reasons. Last hitting, early dps (because of the aspd, attack reset, and super scaling), and building up ferocity are the main uses for savagery at lvl 1, and at that point yes I feel it outweighs his other spells in overall usefulness. After that first rank though I leave it. Level 2 I get bola strike if I'm in lane, battle roar if in jungle, lvl 3 I get the third ability I was missing. Then if in jungle I focus on battle roar, if in lane focus on bola strike, and of course get his ult every level possible.
I basically only level up savagery when I have to, because simply put, it's the LEAST useful thing to level up, always. It takes 2 ranks of savagery for a comparable damage increase of 1 rank in either of his other 2 damaging spells, which also add far more utility. That doesn't mean savagery isn't an awesome skill, because it TOTALLY is, but it's the initial short cooldown (which doesn't get shorter with rank) and the insane scaling (which doesn't improve with rank) that makes it such an awesome skill.
