I just tried this build, and holy hell is it powerful! I had 14 stacks in no time and ended up carrying the game, to the point where my presence was simply enough to push the lane. I ended the game with a backdoor ulti-sneak in, and it was possibly the best game I've played in a long time!

Good detailed build

Good question! I hadn't even noticed the change! However, it does provide the same amount of lifesteal as a Vampiric Scepter, although only against monsters. The obvious payoff to the change is the 40% increase in gold from them. Since the plan is to eventually sell the Wriggle when you get out of the jungle, I'd say stick to it for now. I'll do some more tests to figure out an alternative.
