Pros and Cons

Solo top

Pros

Very high damage output
Mobility
Can heal up with Battle Roar
Can easy escape with Thrill of the Hunt
Strong early even without items

Solo Top

The maybe most important thing about an Top lane Rengar is the way you play him,
your main focus should be on harassing.

To do that you should stay in the Bush
and jump out with your hit the enemy with
an auto atack then use your on him and go back in the bush.

While harassing you should use to get an good cs.
And remember an good cs is essential too not just an harassed enemy
