I also feel like many of the selections you made in this guide are off. Late itemization, some masteries, even some runes. I like your ideas, but I think you are trying to build him way too tanky with this guide.
1) Scaling armor? Scaling health if you want late game stats, otherwise just take flat armor.
2) Cloth armor in hard lanes? No, just take the corrupting potion for more E spam.
3) Unyielding does nothing in masteries and I'd go 18 in resolve.
4) You always want all 3 abilities taken by level 3.
5) You never take tear if you want to get other item first. (Even more so if doing bad.)
6) I'd rush sunfire cape over dead man's plate as it requires you to get to melee range
7) If you're going for Zz'rot portal, might as well take it sooner for more pressure
8) Randuin's/Sterak's/Thornmail are about the only last items I'd take.
9) I don't think you have covered enough ultimate usage of
10) Your guide is somewhat outdated from what it is suggesting in cheat sheet.

Scaling armor is straight up better than flat armor. Yorick can take scaling runes because of his strong lane phase. He needs the help later on more than he does in lane.
Cloth armor still has its place for inexperienced and very difficult matchups (Renekton)
Unyielding is much better and I will update it, but I do not agree with Grasp. You do not have very many opportunities to land auto attacks in lane, but you can proc Thunderlords fairly consistently.
Your W has very little use early on, there's almost no point in taking it.
I said that in the guide
Dead Man's helps you get into melee range, sunfire is useless
I forgot to update it from when it was flavor of the month. I'll change it to GA.
GA? Warmog's is also very strong.
You ult the strongest member of your team. Early on it's usually you, later on it's your ADC. I'm not writing a guide for people that don't know how to micro the clone because it's a fairly basic skill.
I agree.
As stated, this build focuses on sustained damage. Caulfield's Warhammer straight up outclasess Sheen. They both give 10% CDR, but the AD you get from Caulfield's boosts your damage on q and e, as well as giving you additional sustain because his healing is based off of the damage dealt by E. These 2 reasons are also why Black Cleaver outclasses Iceborn and Triforce.

I've been trying to figure that out. If you wanna add me and play some games of jungle Yorick with me I can help you out.
The guide is great and all but there is one part a strongly disagree with, yorick is great with ravenous hydra,i mean clearing with your abilities is easy and all but, with hydra its a whole new level of wave clear
I think he would too squishy with more than one damage item. Yorick's biggest problem is closing the gap on his opponents, and this item offers no movespeed, cdr, or defensive stats in order for him to do that.
Thanks for making this awesome guide! I have been playing a lot of yorick top lane this season using this build and it's crazy how good he is with it.
Thanks! :^)
I hope anyone will reply to this...hm...
I really love yorick so much and after the new update i would love to get him to lvl 6/7. Though no matter how much i played yorick i never got abouv A-...so...can anyone of you tell me if it is even possible to get an s with yorick :(
From what I've gathered, it is based on your KDA, creep score, and your kill participation. Try improving your CS and warding so you get more creeps and die less.
