I would recommend getting some damage first before you build Frozen Mallet, by the time you finish its going to mid/late game and your damage will be ****.

Thanks for the recommendation. I max Q 2nd and get Brutaliser before FM just to remedy this issue. With the changes to Valor coming up, I might reconsider the build sequence and item sequence in order to put more damage up front in the build and max Valor before Broken Wings.

Why 6 Quints? You should also go into a little bit more visual description rather than just words. Highlight some of your stuff, images, etc.

I'm sorry if you didn't want to take the time to read it without pretty pictures... If you had read it, you would notice that there are 6 quints because I'm still working out between the two which I like best.

Yikes, that sounds harsh even looking back up at it. Thank you for your advice: I decided to make a few cosmetic changes to the build.

I was just coming back to change my build around. I was using Trinity Force mainly for the movement/crit/slow over anything else, but I've reconsidered after some research and play time.

Updating the build as we speak.

A Riven offtank?... >.> <.< O.O really?

If you build Riven as a offtank you loose out on that prestigious damage you can deal + she dosent make a good offtank.

Riven is better as a SUSTAINED AD champ. she have "meh" burst but she can keep her damage output running for a long time.

And for the trinity in your build.... why? i know its all the rage at the moment, but Riven have so low base ad that its not worth it! in 15 seconds, you can deal 500-600 more damage using bloodthirster whit just a few stacks.

Some guy proved it on the league of legend forums, cant find the link at the moment.

I'm not saying that he has to make Riven Offtank, just that Atma's impaler is good for offtanks, not for Riven AD... that's all =P
Anyways, thanks for the reply.

Here are the links omagma's thinking of:

Here's a quote from one of those threads, based on the math:

A Riven that buys 2 BF Swords is spending 700 less gold for 400 more damage
BFS Riven has more survivability due to shield being AMAZING
BFS Riven better utilizes the AOE increases of her ult to deal out even more damage
BFS Riven is actually able to complete her combo faster because Tri-force has a 2 second CD between procs, Riven's passive does not.

With 2.2k HP and Atma you would only get 44.24 Damage, 18 CritChance & 45Armor so I just see that a fail.
I really think that would be great if you make her an offtank, but this isn't the case, so I'll highly recommend Banshee's Veil as situational as well as Guardian Angel, but it's just my opinion. I don't think what's better, Riven as an ADcarry or just ADburst.
Anyways, continue improving your guide.
