A Tanky dps is a tank, With this build you sacrifice alot of damage at early, to gain survivality, Never said your build is wrong, i just disagree, You have alot of ways to play Riven, and that makes her an exelent champion to me...
It is better be exelent at 1 thing, that be regular being 2 things, it will be hard for the ones that use this build get kills and deal damage at early-mid without hug with the ultimate,
Sunfire is a tanky item, Warmog is a tanky item, Atma's is a tanky item and well, Force of Nature is a tanky item,
Im sorry if my comment was agressive, it was not the idea, Im sorry if you misunderstood myself, It was not the idea neither, Im just saying that your build is incomplete in both sides of it,
And well, I didnt created an account to downvote your build, You are a bit paranoic, Thats all

Im sorry to disagree, Riven is not a tank, using this build you sacrifice alot of mobility and damage, of course you get alot of survivality, but you lack damage until you stack alot of hp... Before that the only thing you can do with this build, is tank, and hug kills with your ultimate, and tanks are not supposed to get kills,
If you are a tank, You lack of magic resisit...
If you are a dps, You lack of damage, attack speed, and something like critical
If you reach late, okay, you have 250 attack damage, you actually deal a nice ammount of damage, but you waste the potential of riven as an assassin, dps , and heavy damage dealer on mid game

where... in my guide do i say riven is a tank...? Are you sure you actually read through my guide? The only tank item you could consider is the sunfire cape, everything else after is more like a "tanky dps" build. Thank you though, for creating an account today to downvote my build

Looks almost perfect. I really think you should keep a spot for Trinity Force. From Rivens I have seen, without needing any tanky items and just while rushing Trinity Force, Riven can be surprisingly tanky. I suppose that early game bit could be further useful if you rushed Trinity Force or another damage item(I also see that you have done as I mentioned in my theory, though).

I'd also prefer Mercury's Treads, to be honest. Just like I do on Renekton.

Yeah I definitely thought about leaving trinity force in, I just feel that there's several stats on there that just don't fit riven. And so straight up attack damage and lifesteal felt better to put on her. I agree with mercury treads, however, depending on how your early levels go, like 1-3, if you're doing fine I'd rather get the cdr boots, otherwise mercury's treads are the way to go.

Also @streeter
It's mostly preference, if you max out valor and ki burst, your early game burst damage is lowered greatly, but you do gain more survivability and utility, just my preference to have one point in ki burst and valor for escaping/counter-damage, while still keeping my burst combo up. Thank you for your extremely positive feedback though.

your skill rotation is fail
why do you skill the q spell first?
its useless 1 point at start and the other in the endgame skill w and e first to be longer in the fight and pwn your enemys.

Unfortunately I had a bad team, but still 12-11-2!

This build does it perfectly. Riven isn't meant to be a carry, but a tanky damage dealer. There are some items that could be swapped around, I prefer having warmogs over sunfire cape to get the extra ad from atmas.
